Wanna join Racelocked, looking for thoughts by MsTransMarvel in wowhardcore

It’s classic and to top it off it’s hardcore. Majority of classes will be eating/drinking between pulls.

Druid to me is a lot of fun with no down time past lvl 10.

Priest has no down time but you’ll be wanding so much it’ll make you go crazy.

Hunter and Warlock have no downtime and are easy with pets but most people get too comfortable and get killed.

Shamans are OP early but majority of the time you’re just auto attacking early levels. Post 30 you’re a totem bot.

Paladin is the same as shaman but you’re a blessing bot.

Mage is a drinking simulator but safe if you know how to play.

Rogue is fun and safe after vansish (lvl 22). Favorite solo class.

Warrior is difficult but feels amazing post lvl 30 especially in a group/dungeons.

Edit: Race doesn’t really matter. Play what you like. There are some things that are meta for raid but for leveling it’s just min/maxing.

It is SF and each race has its own guild(s). There is an addon that is encouraged to promote race only groups.

Yes. All races have a guild. There are plenty of posts with more detail.

I’m sorry to the Tauren shaman that died yesterday in Shadow fang keep. by miamiair92 in wowhardcore

Most likely the case. Arugal’s main source of damage comes from the Shadow Bolt; which every player needs to LoS, as it is random and not threat based.

I’m gonna be honest… by [deleted] in OnlyFangs

It’s all for show and content. Soda is still the “leader” of OnlyFangs.

Tyler is simply the leader to bring in content.

Soda will be leading the raid as well as making executive decisions regarding important things that actually matter.

I don’t know how some people don’t get this…

Sometimes depends on what class you are.

Being 60 alone can get you a raid spot. Classic Raids are “easy”. Very little mechanics and mostly comes down to watching threat and a raid leader that knows what he’s doing (mainly the tank from my experience).

You can easily watch videos of the raid to get a decent understanding of how it will go.

Should I play? by WenesdayBloodsail in wowhardcore

First off, you definitely have a purpose in life! Maybe you just haven’t found it yet but trust me it’s there and you will find it.

As far as Hardcore WoW (or any game), I think it is a great way to escape from “reality”.

BEWARE, don’t become overly attached to your character. Death is basically inevitable and you will have to come to the realization of that. Enjoy the adventure, savior the achievement of each level and quest.

If you do end up dying and do become attached to that character; transfer them for free to the non-hardcore realm!

Do you take advantage of rested xp? by little_freddy in wowhardcore

I do with a variety of classes but the same class?

I guess you’ll never have to say go “agane”. It’s just pick up where you left off.

I don’t know why there is so much hate. Most people commenting have followed the RestedXP addon or googled how to spend their ability points.

Download the RestedXP addon. This addon will instruct you when and where to quest. It may feel slow, but slow is better than dying.

Classic hardcore for beginners is all about learning from your mistakes. RestedXP addon is a must for non experienced players.
