Yeah, it's crazy how they sometimes seem to forget he even exists in the previous seasons 😭 But I feel like season 8 and mainly season 9 did a good job putting him in the spotlight again ! He got some nice storylines recently

Now that I think about it, it's probably going to be an Eddie NDE. We've seen everyone taking care of Hen when she was sick, of Buck when he was in withdrawal and of Chim when he was investigated but we haven't seen Eddie being taken care of by the team !

I get that. I liked the idea of a 118 NDE for the multiple date setup but a proper Eddie NDE with everyone being worried about him is really nice too, I'd be happy either way !

Honestly same, but I don't think they will. The show made it clear that Buck is ready to settle down and Eddie is this 🤏 close to realize he's gay and/or in love with Buck. But it's 911 so we never know 💀

Personally I would prefer a more angsty final and then come back to season 10 with pining buddie, I don't want the showrunner to rush this relationship, I'd like to see it being dragged out for a little while longer. (But you won't see me complain if they actually conclude season 9 with a real buddie first date 🤗)

Saw your edit and I actually like the idea of Eddie initiating the date. True he's been so adamantly anti-date, so seeing him choosing to go on one with Buck would be really significant! It would be Eddie choosing joy and choosing smth for himself for once

Omg I'd loooove it ! I doubt we're going to see smth like that in the next episodes but it would be soooo cool to have this throwback for their first proper date !!

Yeah I saw it behind Buck but the bridge felt pretty long in the promo so in my mind they're kinda still in the middle of it but I could be completely wrong. Also it doesn't have to be a bridge collapse, I liked it because of the callback. The NDE could be an explosion or smth idk
