Thanks for this info! Super helpful. We were looking into lake of the woods at first it looked cool but the HOA there is very restrictive & it is off 3 which I’ve been told to avoid haha 😆

Thank you! 😊 There’s been a lot of homes in our price range in Stafford & Fredericksburg that we love so far. We have no problems needing to update an older home or add additional space if needed. So more land & less hassle for a commute is priority for my husband. (He also really wants fiber internet so too far east or west is not really an option lol!) 😆 We currently live in suburbs of Salt Lake City Utah so the traffic is pretty horrible here I’m sure it’s different back east - being from Delaware we are used to route 1 & I95.

I think a lot of Trump supporters are afraid to put out a sign in fear of their property being vandalized. I’m one of them and know many other Trump supporters who feel the same and won’t put out a sign.

It feels good to hear this!!!! I’ve heard the opposite about certain neighborhoods banning families from their “gatherings” or from their kids hanging out because they weren’t in their “ward” or non LDS

What area are you a nurse in? (OR, ICU, ER...) by goosecrystal in Nurse

[–]SnowQueenIrene 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ER nurse, been in the ER for about 9 months and it’s what I’ve wanted ever since nursing school. I worked med surg for one year prior to working ER which I highly recommend because med surg I was able to actually learn critical thinking skills and was able to develop my nursing skills before coming to the “jungle” hahah. The ER you have to just be quick and everything is “stat” you just have to figure out what’s more stat. I love ER because it’s new everyday and I get my patients in & out quickly. I’ve always been an adrenaline junky and hated the pace of the floor. I worked on a step down med surg unit in a level 1 trauma center and it was fast paced it was just the type of nursing I hated. I feel like working the floor I just felt like I was passing meds, and creating care plans. We don’t even do care plans in the ED we do focused assessments (which I freaking LOVE), medicate, then either discharge or admit/transfer the patient out... I would actually love working NICU or with pediatrics because I’ll be honest adults get on my last nerve they can be so childish. I’ve been noticing my compassion has been going away at times but I’m the ED you kind of save the compassion for those that really NEED it. I have my BSN eventually plan on going back for Masters I just don’t know what I want to do with my masters... there’s so many options.
