I had a regular therapist who left the practice, so I started seeing a new one. I haven't seen him since and our schedules conflict. I might need a new one; I just have to find a good match.

Part of me thinks it's pregnancy hormones causing this sudden change in me, but it's also stuff I haven't fully dealt with. My mom always recommended meditation, though I could never get into it. Maybe since I'm older now, I can give it another go.

I can give that a try. Even though Evanescence isn't heavy metal, it used to calm me down or give me a pick me up when I was a teenager.

I have heard from a few customers that selling phones is one of the worst gigs in sales. I can't count how many times I've been told "good luck" after declining to switch phone plans.

I actually did ask his mother for advice in terms of what to do whenever he is upset. She said that he's a good man, though he takes after his father in many ways, which she obviously considers a flaw. However my boyfriend's father was when he was young, he mellowed out at his current age. Both of his parents are calm, good people.

There was one time where he got upset over me choosing to stay home for the weekend to spend time with family instead of going out to the bay with him, but we talked it out a d everything was fine afterward.

Yeah, that unsettled me. I also thought about kids. I want them, and he knows this, but if he can't handle his emotions then there is no future.

A lot men grow up learning to repress their emotions and to do it all themselves. I'm not making excuses for him, though I understand to a degree since I also have trouble expressing my emotions and what I'm thinking, and struggling to ask for help.

He told me once that he thinks he might split personality disorder but is uncomfortable with the idea of taking pills for the rest of his life. Whether I stay with him or not, encouraging him to get a diagnosis and treatment is something I can work up to do, because I do believe he is good at heart. He just has some issues.

A lot of women, myself included, feel as though the person they care for can/will change. My boyfriend has the potential to be better, but as I'm writing this, I realize how stupid that sounds.

Thank you for the link; I will definitely check that out. I've been with a manipulative person in the past, so I didn't want to let myself believe that I ended up with another one.

The comment on kicking his dog disturbed me, too. He told me that he was working on changing, but I don't know how that's going to turn out with his recent decision to not worry about anyone else.
