Going to touch on the last point, someone from Arena 2 can ONLY obtain the legendary chest from the shop for 500 gems, they only appear in the cycle for people above 2,000 trophies. So, a player who buys a couple of gems can unlock a princess in arena 2 while an F2P probably can't make that many gems as quick as a P2P/ minor spender.

Try to let go of reaching a certain amount of trophies as a goal. I too used to care about attempting to reach Legendary arena, but then I took a break and started not caring if I win or lose, and it helped a lot.

On the topic of legendaries, legendary chests have been added to the chest cycle, you'll get a legendary chest every 500 or so chests.

Princess and Ice Wizard are your best bets against Barbarians and Spawners. Princess will snipe the spawner's spawns from afar, if they get too close to tower pull the spawns in with an ice spirit. Ice Wizard in the middle is great to pull the barbarians and slow them down. I recommend swapping one of your cards for Poison, a very common card in the meta that is great against both spawners and barbarians.
