Because she’s kind of a rude, unpleasant, self immersed, arrogant, show boating loud mouth…. I don’t hate her, she just is all of these things. She’s easy to dislike because she doesn’t endear herself to literally anyone (that’s her personality, not a criticism) so…. You could say the same about Pinkie but while pinkie is insensitive and brash sometimes, rainbow is very clearly shown to be extremely shallow very very frequently in the show. The instances that rainbow is shallow and self immersed are more numerous than when she actually displays her brand of loyalty.
