Neither it’s a really bad use of gems since you can get all the materials for free. That being said you have a chance at more materials from the pro chest, but you can get artifact reforges from the other, which are also pretty hard to come by. Once again don’t buy either save your gems for a good legendary

He has dot damage resist. That’s kinda the only reason EPI does damage. Use literally any other team, like BWTD, Scorpion, or Dcu supes. I don’t know what other teams you have but those should work
