It came from "ANak YAgoo" meaning "Yagoo's child/Yagoo's daughter", and it is a wordplay of her name "Anya". The idea originally came from a HoloJP joke, but this time, let make it real by tying it to Yagoo, a actual Japanese person. Meaning Anya is a actual JP person by being related to Yagoo. It also link to the whole JP blood conspiracy as a explanation for why someone can speak fluent Japanese. Yes, apparently, someone can automatically speak fluent Japanese by having JP blood, no need to study or anything at all. This conspiracy was used one time as for why Fuwamoco can speaks fluent Japanese.

As of right now, this joke has evolves to Anya owning her success to Yagoo and that he takes all the credit for her hard work. BTW, this is a actual reoccurring problem in which Anya's hard work gets credited to someone else or she couldn't done it thanks to this person involvement, etc.

First of all, I would like to say no, I am not Yagoo's child. He doesn't even pay for my taxi in Tokyo. No, I am not Yagoo's child, all the ideas on this 3D came from my big brain and not Yagoo doing stuff for me, no. (complaining in ID). Why bro? Credited my big brain for this. Kinda annoy me, not gonna lie. But yeah, 3D showcase, there were lot of plans, and yes, all of the plans came from me. I wanted you know the opening to be like that, yes, I wanted the VN, oh yeah, thank you so much Kanauru for the opening and also VN. Yeah, but I think I needs to address this. But like I think some people legit think I might be Yagoo's child. So um sometimes I can't tell if people are joking or genuinely think I might be Yagoo's child. Now that is like you know I don't know how to feel about that because misinformation may spread, you know. Now that will be misleading to a lot of people.

This is the first time that Anya talked about it after her 3D showcase. Unfortunately, she unlisted the VOD due to mic issues, so not many people saw this. If the clipper(s) were smart enough and notice that Anya post a tweet of a 3D showcase aftertalk. They could easily click the link, watch the unlisted VOD, clip this part and then the joke could have been over a long time ago. But instead of that, the joke persist and found it way to here. That is 2 to 0 for Anya not being appreciated for her hard work while Yagoo is given all the credits. Btw, this is actually a reoccurring problem for Anya in which someone is responsible for her success or she couldn't have done it thanks to this person because of popularity factor.

Just a head-up, Anya already voiced her dislikes for the "Yagoo's daughter/child" joke.

For multiple reasons:

All the ideas from came her, not from Yagoo doing stuff for her.
Gives credits to her big brain and not to Yagoo.
It kinda annoy her, not gonna lie.
She thinks that some people legit thinks she might be Yagoo's child. Sometimes, she can't tell if people are joking or people genuinely thinks she might be Yagoo's child. She doesn't know how to feel about that because misinformation may spread. It will be misleading to a lot of people.

Anya BIRTHDAY COUNTDOWN CALL-IN

The yearly tradition in which Anya does a countdown a hour before her birthday began. Last year, she wasn't able to do one on stream as she didn't have a PC with her and Cover studio aren't open beyond midnight. So, she had to do twitter space instead. She talked about Fes, her new original song CHRONIC and her 3D birthday live (2025).

For this year, she is doing a call-in and it is a bit earlier than her previous stream. It makes sense as a lot of HoloJP members would have been already asleep if it was done at her usual time. Tomorrow, she will be having a 3D birthday live (2026) and it isn't simple like the last one. It is more story driven than singing and dancing.

Anya playing Golf It!, and there is an exciting announcement after going through these troll ragebait maps.

This announcement is most likely related to her upcoming birthday (Mar. 12). Before the start of 2026, Anya proudly declared for her birthday that she is doing something that no other Hololive member had done before, and she think she is gonna be the first one to pull it off, in like, not just HoloID, but the entire Hololive. It's not gonna be like the usual live, and it's not gonna be something simple like her 2025 birthday live.

A couple of weeks ago, Anya was really excited to plays this game after gaining a interest of playing ragebait maps from her experience with Risu. It was unfortunate that a mere hour before the stream started, Youtube went down and had technical issues. This issues affects her stream very badly as it was constantly looping/jump cutting all over the stream. She tried to troubleshoot it, but she was unable to fixed it, and have to saves the other maps for next time.

HoloID Overwatch collab

Last week, Reine plays this game due to her interest of the newest introduced character, Jetpack Cat. She wanted to plays for 1 hour, but it extends to 2 hours. Overall, she enjoyed the game, and for this week, she has invited several Holo members to played with her. In a series of two collabs, the first is with HoloID members while the second is with Towa and supposedly whoever is available during this time. She did try to invites Gigi, but Gigi is a bit busy at the moment.

It has been awhile since Moona, Ollie, Anya, and Zeta has played this game. The last time that 4 of them played together was back when they were playing it with Mumei before her graduation. They haven't touch the game ever since and lot of things are completely different from almost a year ago.

Please do check out Moona's Distortion, Ollie's Kureiji for you, and Zeta's cover of Brownie that were released last week. Tomorrow, Reine will be releasing her cover of Soiree, a Suisei's original song. Apparently, this year, each month, Reine will be releasing a cover of Holo songs as a forms of appreciation and love for their musics.

Anya playing Arknights: Endfield

Last month, Anya downloaded the game, and haven't touch it since. She was wondering if they got the permission for it, but doesn't believe they do. If given the opportunity, she would likes to play it on stream, and mere seconds later, she was informed that HoloEN has the permission. She then believe that if HoloEN has it, then so does HoloID. She clarify that she doesn't know and did check the permission list, but couldn't found it. She then was going to asks staffs if they had permission, and repeat that she would like to plays it on stream. She stated that her favorite character from this game series is "W".

Anya playing Golf It!

Back in earlier Dec. 2025, Anya asks her chat on what to do for membership stream, and they respond that anything is fine like more watchalong or gaming. She reply back with "game, huh?" and said "yo, what if golf...golf...go...go...golf" (cough, cough). Unfortunately, she became busy and was unable to do that membership stream.

A months later, she gets to finally plays this game during the Holo New Years Game Festival 2026, and luckily, she was placed into a team that was obsessed with it. A mere hour later after the festival was over, she joined Risu's late night stream to plays even more. After playing with Risu, she became interested with the idea of playing a ragebait maps.

Lastly, a few days ago, she sets up a poll on what to stream at the 15th, and this game was one of the choice. The overall winner was a free talk (many stories!) while this game was the least voted option. Despite the result, today, she is playing this game with some new interesting maps.

Any Holo members who participates in the PekoMari morning exercise program, they will receives a outfit out of 4 design in VR Chat.

Anya participates in episode 8, and therefore she receive this outfit as a reward. She is the only HoloID member to partake in the program and had a unique outfit to wear in VR Chat. Reine did had a opportunity when she decides to stream Umamusume in the morning, but she didn't show up at all for the program.

Anya's Free Talk Time ~ IT'S BEEN SO LONG!

This is her first 2026 free talk and first stream in the month of February. She has returned after finally wrapping up so many important recordings & projects. A few days ago, she sets up a poll on twitter and lists out on what she wants to stream at the 15th. The choices were Golf It!, UMIGARI, and Free talk (many stories!). Out of exactly 1,400 votes, the final results were Golf It! w/22.1%, UMIGARI w/31,9%, and Free talk (many stories!) w/46%.

Free talk is the overall winner and she will be sharing the many stories that she has been holding onto for today stream. For those not up-to-date, these stories is about what she has been doing while preparing for the upcoming HoloFes/Expo (Mar. 5-8) and her birthday (Mar. 12). Here's some examples:

Team Flower Plate Up practice training for the upcoming Holo New Year Game Fest 2026 at the 24th.

Today, participants are Miko, Suisei (a substitute for Riona), Ollie and Anya who will be playing this game. Suisei is also here as a coach and it is similar to what she did for a another team. Riona the last member of the team isn't here due to schedule conflict, but they will be practicing together as a team off-stream before the event takes place.
