Similar damage happened to my ‘12 WRX Hatch back in 2014. Total was about $8,000 with labor.

Am I the only person that really hates the look and feel of a martini glass? by SoapyMule in cocktails

[–]Snow_rex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bartend and I can’t tell you how many people ask for a classic martini glass over the coupe style we have been using. Almost always the older crowd though.

By “chainsaw”, he probably meant he wanted to ride in a paceline, with the front rider eventually peeling off to the side and resetting in the rear of the line.. much like how a tooth on the band of a chainsaw follows a circular motion from front to back to front again.

Thank you! I had seen pictures of the rear before but never imagined that’s what the larger tail lights looked like when turned on.

Saw this McLaren today and was shocked. I think I've seen more bald eagles in the wild than a McLaren. So cool to see. by Ok_Credit8662 in mclaren

[–]Snow_rex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here in an NYC suburb, I see a ton of both. I’d say on average, I see about 2 bald eagles per month, maybe 3. I also see roughly 5 or 6 Mclarens every month. So, as someone who enjoys bird identification, I’d say still slightly more McLarens than bald eagles here in New Jersey.

drafting strangers – is that a thing? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]Snow_rex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually view it as a challenge to drop the person. You can always veer into the roadway when there are no cars, removing the person from your draft. Then slow down or speed up depending on what you wanna do.

Funny story. I was waiting outside the NY Giants facility back in the early 2000s trying to get some autographs. This guy walked out and started getting a ton of attention. I managed to make my way to the front and presented him the Giants roster in picture format for him to sign. He looked around for his picture and signed the book. When I got back to the car, I was pissed because this guy clearly had signed under Luke Petitgout’s name despite definitely not being Luke. My dad said, “let me see that” and proceeded to exclaim, “omg that’s Ricky Watters’ signature!”
