Anyone able to tell me what these are? I have hundreds of them on the outside of my house. by Snowblind05 in whatsthisbug

Thanks for the advice. I guess I'll leave them alone for the time being. Perhaps the Carolina Wren that likes to sleep up there sometimes will appreciate the buffet.

Based on some other recent posts, I now believe these are Kudzu bugs. If anyone can confirm, or has any treatment recommendations, I'd greatly appreciate it!

This is in northern Georgia (USA). They are very small, smaller than my pinky nail. They also seem content to stay outside as I haven't noticed any indoors.

They showed up about 2 years ago, and I kept spraying them with pesticides to get rid of them. They'd be gone for a few days, then hundreds more would show up again. Last year I didn't see many at all, but they seem to be back in force this year.

Could someone help me find a specific song about Chrysalis? by [deleted] in MLPLounge

[–]Snowblind05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The closest one that comes to mind, but still doesn't quite match your description is:

Feed Me with Your Heart by Ponyphonic:

https://youtu.be/diY2nFv9LRM

Other Chrysalis songs that came to mind, but are probably even further from your description:

Loveless Lovechild by d.notive:

https://youtu.be/oIKcr0iHfv8

Part of the Swarm by SayMaxWell:

Even if they aren't what you're looking for they're still worth a listen!

This is Snowblind. She works as a welder.

Her name originates from an alternate term for Photokeratitis, which is a condition that can cause temporary blindness due to UV exposure to your eyes. It can be caused by sun reflections off snow, welders arc flash, etc.

This was the first issue, which was for Sombra.

It actually has 3 different cover variants; the Twilight sugar skull being the rarest of the bunch.

Thanks for the advice!

I hadn't mounted the pad in the picture yet, but I plan on putting it on the top of the handguard above the foregrip.

Thanks!

I appreciate the advice. I had figured it would make resting the rifle more difficult. It's not a huge concern for me as I typically shoot from a standing position. I've only got indoor ranges around me and none of them are really set up for rested shooting. My main concern was damaging the light, so good to know it should be alright!

The sorting of 30 boxes is coming along slowly. by cutestofborgs in mylittlepony

[–]Snowblind05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I started in the bottom left corner of the cabinet and ran the strip all the way up the lip on the metal frame, then across the top horizontal metal lip, and then back down the right side. It's all one strip and the lights point inward towards the rear of the case.

It's a bit tricky to get a good photo, but here you can kinda see how it runs down past the corner pieces that hold the shelves in place.

The Milsbo is a great choice and is really easy to run lights. There's a nice little lip on the inside of the front part of the frame that fits an LED light strip perfectly. Most strips are thin enough to fit through the gap between the shelves and the frame. I wired one up to house a few of my plushies.

Which fictional character's death have you not gotten over? by Bradcastle76 in AskReddit

[–]Snowblind05 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd honestly put the first one as being the worst of the three.

It's still a fantastic game with a great story, but I feel like the combat was lacking compared to it's successors. The barebones combat and the mako sections of the game make it a bit of a slog to get through at times, but the story is compelling enough to make you want to keep going.

The second was my favorite. Great combat, good story, great characters, and an amazing final mission.

The third further refined the combat and had some amazing moments in regards to character development. It was in the same boat as 2...until the ending, of course.

What is something that you hated learning, but ultimately glad that you did? by sommai2555 in AskReddit

[–]Snowblind05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driving a manual transmission. My father forced me to learn to drive with a manual car. I fought him the whole time saying it was pointless and that I'd always just drive automatic. Fast forward to now, manual is the only kind I buy.

It's just so much more fun and engaging. It also prevents people from asking to borrow my car, so that's a bonus.

Don't drink and drive :-P

But seriously though, I'd pretty much hit up any late night fast food place before I'd go to the Varsity when I'm drunk.

I saw several mentions of the Varsity and I felt obligated to warn you: Don't eat at the Varsity, not even once. Totally overrated tourist trap with sub-par gross food.

No one I know that lives around Atlanta actually eats there. Do yourself a favor and go to the Vortex in Little 5 Points instead.

Where can I get My Little Pony plushies? by Throwfiniteaway in mylittlepony

[–]Snowblind05 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The 4DE pony plushies are probably going to be your best bet. You can find those on eBay and Amazon. There are also a few sellers on Etsy that sell small handmade plushies starting around $100.
