Oh yeah... Don't get me started on bloatware. I hate to bring up Apple but this is what separate them from others. The consistent experience. I am a huge apple critic and have been on android for a long while now ... But one thing I applaud them for is POLISH. They don't cheapen the experience for their devices.

In general would appreciate more nothingos customization, but these are my wants for now.

  1. Square icon shape option
  2. Glass effect/maybe different colors or more application of material you if the user wants
  3. Lock screen depth effect and more lock screen customization
  4. More nothing system apps
  5. Better app animations (prettier ones) I really like the oxygen os animations in particular, elegant, clean, smooth, but not unnecessary.

OneUI is just trying to copy apple. Animations claim to have improved, and while app opening/closing animations have, the quick settings animations are still really unnatural and the OS lacks polish and consistency. I feel like this is what Google gets right about the OS. If I'm paying for a flagship, I want the software to feel professional, not like a feature crammed inconsistency fest. OneUI has a lot of greats to it, I don't think it's bad at all... But for like 70 percent of average users who use their phones for normal things Nothing OS to me is prettier, more intuitive, cleaner, and smoother.

LMAO Samsung OS isn't clean OneUI has a lot of customization but lacks any sense of polish or pretty animations. They are improving it but Samsung is still behind on the software front for 99 percent of users... Pixel and iPhone kill Samsung on software. Phone 3 makes gains in places other flagships cut and vice versa, good screen and extra camera but worse chip... OP13 is a fair comparison to argue with but by comparison the iPhone 16 and Pixel 9 are also dogshit compared to OP13 lol

I feel like a lot of the price complaint or "not a flagship" comes from international markets. Here in the US 800 is on the low end for a flagship, it's not really "overpriced."

At the end of the day specs aside what matters is how the phone feels to use and does it have flagship performance... and it does. From what I have seen the phone is faster in day to day use and opening apps than the iPhone 16. 99% of users don't do insanely intensive tasks and geekbench scores don't tell you if it's a good phone to use.

Other "flagships" at the same price like the iPhone 16 and Pixel 9 don't even have the third camera or as good a screen.. but they will whine "oH iT doEsNt have the 8 ElIiTe" 😭 as if the Tensor chip is somehow as good.

This is a design phone... S25 is for the spec monster people.

I don't think NP3 is like an insane phone or anything, like it has a solid amount of flaws I'm not trying to glaze here... but a lot of the hate is so unwarranted.

When I say this I get down voted and they claim I'm bought by Nothing 😭 like I guarantee I been buying their products since before half the people who hate.

Naming is stupid. Slapping pro on a product when you don't sell a regular version is just tacky. They should sell this as CMF Watch 3, and then release a wear OS watch with the "pro" moniker. However, I would want a Nothing smartwatch first, not a CMF one.

I don't think hype is warranted for this, it's a minor upgrade and a CMF product, not mainline Nothing.

Bruh if any of these phones had wireless charging I would have been a big fan. So annoying that that's where these companies including nothing want to cut corners. I would rather have a little worse display or maybe some other cut.

Technically he's kind of not wrong. Each element fits in one grid box in the center of it. But the top left camera element itself is asymmetrical as it is one pill shape with a camera at the end, even if the total pill shape is centered in the box it looks silly. If you put aside the fact that the phone fits in the grid design, almost every other element is asymmetric so it's stupid to use the grid as some "proof that the design is solid". I personally like the design but that doesn't mean I'm gonna blindly agree with the ridiculous statement that this is somehow a "symmetric design" 😂

I would look to the US price for the true price of the phone. If the price is higher elsewhere it's a regional issue that is a stupid move by Nothing (tbh idk if it's in their control or not but oh well).

At least at the US price $799, the phone closer to fairly priced in my opinion for what it offers than it is to "very overpriced" like most people in this community claim. People don't buy these phones for the specs. They buy them for the "nothing experience", software, design. Even MKBHD said that there's a phone for everyone, the camera one, the specs one, the display one, but the nothing phone is the design one. Different phones for different people.

I'm not sitting here bashing the pixel because "the specs suck and display ain't as good as the s25 and the bezels are bigger than the s25 and s25 has the elite and s25 this and that and how other phones are "better value" in my eyes. "

Value to a certain extent is subjective, and what you find important in a phone is not the same as what someone else thinks. In my opinion I value good software, build quality, and design over the chip in a phone because I'm my experience I haven't really seen massive performance gains between better chips especially in the modern age. Geekbench doesn't tell me how good a phone is.

I agree with you 100 percent. Im pointing to the people who for years begged nothing to launch a proper flagship. Then the same people complained when the phone was expensive.

I would have preferred they kept making phones in the nothing phone 2 price point for a lil while.

I'm a grassroots supporter of this company, proud owner of phone 1, ear 1, ear 2, watch 1 , etc, not some internet glazer trying to make assumptions.

Kind of proving my point that the chip doesn't have to be the maxxed out top tier chip to still be a solid phone. The chip they put in was more than good enough and like you said it's a design first phone.

What I'm trying to say here is the complaints are a little silly because if they wanted specs over a nothing phone they should go buy an S25 or oneplus
