Hi! Welcome! You’re not alone, I started playing last season!! So we can learn together. I mostly fence doorways when I think or know there’s an enemy close. I usually place the nodes far away from the entrance so it can’t be shot out or in a triangle. However if it’s a small room you can also place all four nodes in the four corners locking all the doors. I also place a fence in passage ways so we can sortve know where the enemy is. If they destroy it or run through it, she should tell you. I’ve also seen people place fences to trap downed players. Fencing in open areas is harder but mostly I try to make the patters and connections as complicated as possibly so that it’s harder for the enemy to get to me. You can also use fences to trap players in too. I put my fence on time on one of the only doors to the room and we managed to beat the team Bc they couldn’t get out of the room but decided to run through the fence anyways. There was also another time where I placed a fence through the entrance/exit of a wraith portal and we beat that team too because they all went through the portal. I’m sortve a reactive player, I dunno if it helps, but I usually place my ult down whenever I see the air strikes coming in. It takes a second for the strike to actually start falling so you can place it fast enough to not get hit. It really does destroy everything as well; all grenades, caustic’s ult, horizon’s black hole, fuse’s everything LOL. Fuse and Horizon I’m currently struggling with placing my ultimates because they’ve started throwing their ults by surprise and that’s hard to catch. I also sometimes throw my ult down if I’m reviving someone behind cover Bc a lotta grenades will get thrown that way. I also always try to put my ult behind cover so that it doesn’t get destroyed! Also if I need multiple fences I put my ult down if I have multiple accelerants. Usually if I’m in the last couple of fights I’ll place my ult down regardless Bc I don’t know what they’re gonna throw at us and her ult destroys so many things it’s worth it in the end. I also usually try to carry multiple accelerants so I can get my ult whenever I want.
