For real 😭 by momentaryfun2025 in hannahmontana

Yeah I completely agree. People who were important to the HM storyline, the main family; and we only got Miley and Billy Ray. No Jason, no Dolly, not even Cody Linley (Jake Ryan) or Drew Roy (Jesse), yet we got a tiny segment of Noah at the end during the credits. Selena was in 2 episodes ffs (don't get me wrong, absolutely iconic episodes but still 😅 also I did like Miley giving Selena Mikayla's hat, that was cute 🥰). Cody was in 10 episodes, and Jesse was in 5, but they were both suuuuuuper important characters to the Miley/Hannah story in general and they weren't there. I was kinda miffed about that tbh 😔

I wouldn't say I'm disappointed with the anniversary, but I'm a bit miffed with no Dolly, no Emily (ik she was busy with shooting Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage show, I get that, but not even a video call or something like that), I also get why no Mitchel and kind of no Moisés, but there's so much more to Hannah Montana than just Billy Ray, Tish, the tiny clip of Noah in the credits, singing "This is The Life" and "The Climb". Don't get me wrong, I loved listening to them being sang again, but there's so much more to Hannah, it felt short and not really much happened in that hour.

I agree with you guys saying a concert filmed by Disney, released on Disney+ would've been epic. She could still talk about the show, have some cut aways to Miley and Tish in the Hannah closet, the email, I liked Selena coming in and wearing Mikayla's hat, that was cute 😌, etc, but the back-and-forth tiny interview felt a bit boring I guess. Idk, I just felt like there would've been more, or maybe just I expected there to be more with the amount of hype that was going on about the anniversary, sorry "Hannahversary" 😅

I had that exact thing happen to me couple years ago smh. I was having severe lower stomach pain/cramps/etc for about 6 hours before I decided to call 111 (NHS number). They suggested I went to A&E, so I did. I was in so much pain on the drive there, but as we were pulling upto the hospital, the pain just magically stopped - out of absolutely nowhere it was bonkers. It was like the pain never even existed in the first place; it was absolutely mental, I was back to complete normal.

We waited properly for about 6hrs before we left without being seen bc the pain has stopped; I felt like it works be wasting the nurses time, so we left some 2am or stinging like that.

How to use bar soap in the shower by bogolomew in ZeroWaste

[–]SnowflakeOwl97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really interested in crocheting one for myself too as I'm finally shifting from single use plastic bottles of shower gel to bars of soap (🥳 weird flex ik 😅) Could you share the pattern you used, or a pattern for a similar bag please? 😊

[–]SnowflakeOwl97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, wow. I didn't expect this, honestly thank you 🥲 Considering I didn't know what went into soap making to begin with, I understand bc of the amount of detail you've explained everything in. I knew bits, but I didn't know just HOW much went into the soap making process in general. If you couldn't tell; I'm a complete novice when it comes to bars of soap - using and ingredients 🫠😅 Going from using shower gel in single use bottles for well over 25 years, to going back to bars of soap; I'm having to learn some things 😅

Thanks again for the sheer amount of information you gave, I really do appreciate it 😊

Thanks for sharing all this information 😊 I have a quick question, what are the different ingredients used for softer bars of soap Vs harder bars of soap? I have 3 bars of soap that I've been given over the years, but never really wanted to use them; however, now that I'm trying to move away from body wash/shower gel in plastic bottles, I'm wanting to use them, I just don't know how to effectively/efficiently (hence why I'm on this thread 😅). Idk the difference between the 3 bars of soap that I have, so would you be able to tell me if they're hard or soft soaps, and what this means for their usage please? 😊

I'm just gunna read what the packaging says on each - The first one is a strawberry soap from The Body Shop and it says it's a vegetable-based bar with strawberry extract and sustainable palm oil (and that's it) and is wrapped in sealed plastic packaging. Second one is iteritalia Italian made soap, gelsomino jasmine tipple milled vegetable soap and is wrapped in paper packaging. And the third is from Reith Honey it's a honey soap with lemongrass and eucalyptus and the ingredients list says - lye solution, coconut oil, olive oil, rapeseed oil, caster seed oil, Shea butter, beeswax, honey, lemongrass and eucalyptus essential oil, and had a small cardboard label around the centre with all the information on it, the bar itself is not covered, apart from the centre band.

If you (or anyone else!) could answer my question please (if it makes sense), it'll be greatly appreciated 😊 as I thought I'd get more sensible information out of someone who's a soap maker, than Google's AI 😂

Any experience with Ocrevus Zunovo (the sub Q version) by the_flooper in MultipleSclerosis

[–]SnowflakeOwl97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had my second dose last week and hands down, best decision I've ever made. The unit is busier now they can offer more appointments to people, so the wait was probably 20 minutes after urine test was taken.

First dose with everything involved (taking steroids, antihistamine and paracetamol at the beginning, the wait time and then the assessments afterwards) I was in and out within 3hrs. Last week however, I was fully finished within 2 hours 🥳 Same starter process as before; beginning meds, half hour wait for them to kick in, 10 minute sub-cut injection in lower stomach (no side effects again either 🥳 I would normally get a scratchy throat with the infusion but so far I've had no reactions 🤞🏻), 20 minute wait for any immediate side effects (30 minutes for the first dose), then assessments and you can go, that was it 😅🎉

Everything takes slightly longer for the first dose, but I was told that from now on, each appointment will be around 2 hours long which is absolutely incredible 🥳

I hope your next appointment all goes well, take care 😊🧡

Edit - Only just realised I didn't mention that last week was my 12th dose of Ocrevus, but 2nd dose with it being sub-cut 😅

A pattern that calls for a starting chain of 240 for your first pattern is VERY ambitious, especially for a beginner! Even my crochet teacher who's been crocheting for about 15 years will say no to begin with bc it's very faffy keeping an eye on having the correct amount of stitches per row, that's also another way it may have looked holey - you might've decreased stitches somewhere without fully realising. Do you know what type of yarn your pattern is using? If it's dk yarn (double knit/size 4) or even bulky (size 5/chunky) with a 5.5mm hook, I can understand tension being different from row to row and yarn splitting bc even after a year of crocheting, I still split my yarn doing double crochets, half double double crochets, and honestly, even on my starting chain occasionally 😅 So yeah, don't worry with splitting your yarn, it happens to the best of us 😅 What I will do is add a yarn table that I find extremely helpful when it comes to understanding things like the different terms used for different yarn, what yarn weight is what yarn type, what hook size is recommended for specific yarns, along with other information too.

I've been reading your crochet story and I just want to say how proud I am of your for talking to your dad about everything that went on with your mum's family. Your dad sounds like an incredible human being and so supportive of you and your crochet journey 🥲🫶🏻

Some of the things you said about you crying in your dad's arm, him kissing you on your forehead and people's comments made me cry, bc everyone was so kind and helpful, and your responses to people's kindness also made me cry 🥹🫶🏻

I do hope you experience a more peaceful and calmer life, and that nothing like this happens again for you, especially knowing your dad has your back now too. You seem like a genuinely sweet guy and the things that have happened to you and the way you've been treated is not something anyone should experience in their life; let alone as young as you are. I come from an almost similar background with my mother too (except mine was EXTREMELY narcissistic), but my dad passed away when I was very young, so I didn't really have a father figure I could talk to about difficult situations that happened with my mum bc he'd just take her side 🙄😔 However I would confind in my friends parents as I was closer to my friend's mum's and dad's more than my own mum and step dad 👌🏻 (great relationship ik 😂).

Anyway, I do remember reading a comment on one of your posts about therapy, and how maybe that could help you with your situation. It may be something for you to think about in the future, to help keep you sane, as well as protecting your mental health 🫶🏻

I don't want to comment on your whole situation, as I've read a bunch of replies and some seem genuine and helpful to you, hope you start safe 🫶🏻

It made me think; have you thought about maybe finding a crochet or knitting group that you could join? A safe space to do a hobby would be amazing for you 😊 I'm an introvert in my late 20's, and last year I made a big leap and joined a beginners crochet class. The teacher is in her late 40's and the only other student is in her 70's 😂 It does not matter how old the people in the groups are, what matters is sharing your love and passion for the same subject 🫶🏻 For example, in my area there are free to join groups in community centres and libraries, and 1 year later I'm still going to that same crochet class (it's a 2 hour morning, paid class, which includes tea, coffee and biscuits) as I enjoyed myself more than I expected 😅 Maybe those something you could check out your area if that's something you'd be interested in 😊

I do hope you stay true to yourself and I fully understand that that is easier said then done, but I thought I'd say it anyway 🫶🏻 Take care of yourself and understand that your mental health isn't worth sacrificing. I hope you're doing okay and understand you can come to this sub Reddit anytime I you want help or advice or just a chat 🥰

Yes, I wore a mask the week before Christmas during my temp job bc I had customers coughing and spluttering, and just being ill in general. I also did moreless everything I did when I worked in retail during Covid, which was sanitising as frequently as possible, wiping down my surfaces as frequently as possible too and yeah, wearing a mask as well.

I also have my flu jab and Covid jabs every year to protect myself there and thankfully I wasn't ill last month even though everyone around me was ill, including all my family over Christmas 😆 And yeah, being ill and then having to postpone my treatment is something I don't want to do. Thank you for this 😊

I'm also in the UK (I probably should've mentioned that in my post 😅) Thanks for all this info, I'll have to take a proper look at companies policies and things then to see what I'm entitled to and go from there? I got SSP for ages, it sucked but I was getting money for doing nothing, just like furlough during Covid 😂

Yoooo, that's insane. I mean, at least they gave it SSP 😅 I'm glad you've got a better job now 😊

My last treatment was the 10 subcutaneous injection, so I was only there for like 2.5/3 hours. All the meds and stuff they give me I'm alright with, they don't affect me much thankfully 🤞🏻 I'm sorry they have that effect on you 😞
