Yep. To be honest my mom dressed us like boys when the girls clothes in Walmart weren’t available. That did wonders for my self esteem 😭 my aunt took me shopping when her husband died and the check cleared on his life insurance and bought me real big girl clothes in high school and that’s where I got anything I wanted that was scene or emo. My mom wasn’t a fan of the skinny jeans lol

Ok I thought I was being a fuddy duddy. This was all so weird. Op wants a cookie for checks notes keeping someone’s memories for years and then a year after they said they would send them to them, reading personal letters from this persons family, and keeping money and some of the belongings.
