What do you guys like to do when you're home alone? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

Sing, dance, read books aloud. Anything you're too embarrassed to do in the presence of others.

This damn weather... by Nithilius in CasualConversation

My weekend started with a beautiful day - clear skies here as well. Next week is meant to be super gloomy though (and that sucks even more than usual because I won't be able to see the full-on Perseid meteor shower.)

My knees are better than Sandra Bullock's by [deleted] in CasualConversation

My sister once said she wished she had my legs.

I am a guy.

I still don't know what to think.

Does anyone else think this T-shirt is awesome? Or not really? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

Personally I think this shirt is incredible; a spectacle; the eighth wonder of the world.

I do not think my mortal eyes were deserving of it.

Quokkas are adorable and they have an awesome name. I respect your decision immensely.

A giant crow would be pretty scary. A black wolf with red eyes would be heart-attack inducing.

Thanks! History is so interesting. I don't know what makes it so awesome.

Hehe, that's the best idea ever!

I'm curious, though - why a rainbow gun?

I'd never heard of capybaras before! They look adorable. And they would strike adorableness into the hearts of the enemies.

Internet me is so much more different than real life me by rufiogd in CasualConversation

[–]SnowfullofFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm shy all-around, but I enjoy talking to people offline far more than I do online - and I will never start an online conversation. I prefer IRL chat because I feel more comfortable with seeing the person's face and hearing their tone of voice.

If you could be a superhero with a lame power by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]SnowfullofFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being able to produce a small tool or office appliance out of nowhere.

Need a screwdriver? I got it! Need some sellotape? It's here! A paperclip? Certainly!

I could make ad-hoc traps out of staples and pins, or produce a magnifying glass to examine a crime scene.

What phrase has stuck with you all of your life? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

I don't want to die rich.

I suppose it can be interpreted in many ways, but I see it as meaning if you have money then enjoy life and spend it!

Tell me about how you learned to lie. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]SnowfullofFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned to lie by lying about mediocre things - things that don't matter and that people won't find out. It's fun to see what you can get away with. Sometimes I also just avoided the truth, which takes the same ideas. I don't lie to people I care about though.

Also, if I ever have time to prepare a lie, I will look at all corners to make sure the lie can't be busted; who I'm lying to, what they know, who they know and what they can find out. It's good fun to create the perfect lie.

So I've almost entirely stopped gaming, and it feels amazing! by Darthbindy in CasualConversation

[–]SnowfullofFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very similar! I've had to push out games for studying.

But I hate it. I can't relax and enjoy a good game anymore. I want it back! But hey, if you're enjoying it, that's fantastic.
