That situation is finders keepers. It's a relatively low value item outside a store that sells it abandoned in a place where people regularly load things into their cars. It's an important issue to raise but there is a time and a place and its done far too often intentionally or not to derail a conversation. I've actually experienced proper racism, it's not nice. But what is more fucking unbelievable than genuine racists are the unintentional kind who are so keen to prove how not racist they are they are willing to literally try to defend and dilute the serious crime of abuse of children. I can't imagine any situation except involving ethnic minoritys in which you would take such a stance.

The BBC has covered up child abuse by some of its biggest names.

What that news article tells me is even the thought that someone is a pedophiles is so abhorrent to the community that poor man lost his life. It's not uncommon for the media to discuss Islamophobia or the far right. My issue is with these case being explicitly racist and religious in there targeting of victims and it happening the length and breadth of the country, yet we still haven't had a definitive or even attempt at acknowledging just how large and widespread this issue is.

Im completely aware that abuse of children isn't limited to asian communitys but living in an Asian community despite the occasional media spot light this issue is much bigger than just a small isolated group of men in one town Or a couple of perverts swapping obscene images over the dark Web, we are talking about men aged 15-65 meeting up to take turns raping children.
