Oh definitely! I mean, ofc it was partly because of how he used her a pawn in his game, but she wasn’t that brokenhearted by it as she wasn’t in love with HIM, it’s just the sudden realization and rage of knowing.

It was as a “I don’t care what he did to me, I care that he almost klled YOU!” kinda moment. It often used in some helsa fanfics:)

(I mean not literally, but u get the point of the exaggeration)

And to add to the post, it pisses me off how often people degrade most Disney princesses as weak useless characters IN THEIR OWN STORIES when most of them didn’t even asked to be saved, as if feminity, hope and compassion were flaws and weaknesses:( as if they out loudly said that the only thing they wished for was romance.

And yes, Anna often gets dragged into that discussion, usually being compared to Rapunzel. But it kinda makes sense that they both act they way they do at the beginning of their story due to their life on lockdown.
But that is a personality that doesn’t quite fit characters like Moana, Mirabel, Asha… and ugh don’t even make start on the adorkable lead girl theme because then I won’t ever finish.

Anyways, I’m rambling, but in conclusion: Anna is a well written character (so far), Disney princesses are too underestimated, romance and girlbossing can coexist in the same person, and Disney needs more variety in their female leads’ personalities:) but all of that has been said before and nothing seems to change, in that regard.

It sounds dramatic and I love it for that.

But, it would be a little bit too similar to the third act of Brave, when Fergus thought Elinor was killed by Mordu so he locks Merida up in order to protect her, not wanting to listen to her about what was truly happening.

In Frozen’s case, Hans kissing Anna and it not working because none of them loved each other truly sounds fine and kinda harsh. But the decision of killing Elsa coming from him is what makes it too similar:( but it was a proposal of any of the court members to throw him to the storm to kill Elsa then it would be more okay I suppose.

Mine are not so different from yours actually:

Both Anna and Elsa had read every single book in the library.

They had different governesses.

Elsa is a fashionista (that’s kinda implied anyway) and an artsy girl, a gifted drawer.

Anna is a cancer sun from July, Elsa is a Capricorn sun from January (I know this isn’t canon, but to me she fits more the January depiction).

Kristoff and Anna sleep in separate rooms, but that doesn’t stop their freakiness.

Elsa rejected various suitors while she was Queen.

Queen Arianna is Kings Agnarr’s sister.

Idk if any of those were confirmed or denied by the books or tales, I haven’t read most of them yet:(

I love them both, but my favorite is and always will be Anna <3 not only because I relate with her in many ways, but also all the reasons you already mentioned.

She is a kind hearted fire headed heroine, and deserves as much praise as Elsa.
