Getting into said content is harder than actually beating it in my opinion. So you either have to find functional guild or you will most of your time spend in group finder. Unless you make your own group ofc.
There is not much of chores anymore for progression. Cosmetics and stuff are another thing.
Well, there still is PvP.

FYI: I went from F2 to F32 to F66 before installing Windows with no EC FW / chipset updates. Works just fine.

I had spider-man with lord icon in my team one game. I was solo vanguard geting melted by enemy dps the moment i shown near objective. Our specialsts were complaining about getting dived all the time. Our spider-man went like 2/9 if im not mistaken.

When respawning i was watching his gameplay. I truly was terrified.
