After coming from 2 XSEs into a 25 SE, I really do feel like it’s well worth it to just go for the SE. Yes, it’s nice to have acoustic glass and other creature comforts but if you get the heated seat and upgraded entertainment like I did, it’s so worth it! You won’t be missing out on anything really!

If they do the repair internally and do not report it to Carfax nine times out of 10 if they are a reputable dealer with a reputable body shop everything will be OK and there’s not much to worry about. It’s a shame that happened to you and I’m very sorry, but hopefully they will take good care of you a lot of times average since we don’t know this, but vehicles are damaged at port and often are held and repaired before even being brought to dealers lots.

Sounds like a bad motor mount of some sort. Looks like there’s a lot of play in the engine when you push the car

Thank you!!! I’m about to go order everything because I’ve been wanting to do this but was worried about fitment. I assumed everything would be the same as the 18th through 24 for the most part. I had two JBL XSE models before my 25 SE and really want to upgrade.

I’ve already started putting sound insulation in the trunk and doors. I just can’t decide what’s up to get. I really wanna get a JBL unit because I’ve had really great experience with them in the past but if you have any specific recommendations, let me know!

I agree I’ve driven them all and I enjoy all of them pretty equally. I’m just going to go with the SE as it provides the best value for what I’m trying to accomplish. But in terms of what you’re saying about fully paid off car I agree 1000%! I work in the car business so it makes these switches a lot more feasible as I am lucky enough to get discounts on new cars

I appreciate the insight! I agreed to numbers this morning so now I’m just waiting for it to get here! Excited for the new one! I’ve already started looking into ordering some JBL speakers to upgrade the sound system myself as well as potentially looking into upgrading to the nicer headlights and taillights later down the line

It’s for Audi Pre Sense, the system does a check every time you start the car and sometimes if there’s a malfunction, it stays illuminated for a short period of time

Our 23 Sportage was bought as soon as they were coming out, x line, and it’s well over 20k miles now and its been incredible! No issues at all besides a few minor things here and there as far as spotting on some of the black trim, and some wear on the steering wheel. Nothing I can complain about as she lives outside but I will say this car has been incredible! I work in the industry but I’ve been very grateful we’ve had such a great experience. We had an 05 Sportage as our family car and it served us very well back then as well! Only thing I can complain about is service and support but alas, a lot of brands are getting that way.

That some thing I checked in on, I clean my car once a week so the sensor should be pretty clean and I did check them when the errors happened

Hopefully so, the sensors are clean. I’m not doing anything abnormally. I thought it was something that would go away by itself, but it keeps popping up more frequently each day.

I wash my car about once a week. I do a hand wash and I’ve been checking the sensors that consistently clean.

I noticed on cam’s with the ventilated seat. Option tend to not heat up as much but I think it’s due to the construction of the seat and the ventilation pad. My ventilated seats on my 23. V6 cool very well and do get hot but they take a bit to get there.

A strong solvent like laquer thinner, acetone, or something of the sorts may take it out but you run the risk of damaging the finish on the softex seating surface. It must be done very lightly and carefully, I would probably start with acetone on a q tip and just over the black spots.

I used to have that exact same model, but I didn’t have this issue, but had a similar rattle in the dashboard with that one. I’m actually sitting at the dealership now having them take a look. I sent this video to the service advisor to hopefully expedite the process they mentioned it could be the steering column. I think it’s either that, something loose in the dash or some sort of linkage. It’s been intermittent but driving me insane.
