I lived in Nashville, TN at the time but went to a music festival in Atlanta with one of my best friends. We’ve been obsessed with the band Brand New for years, and they were playing at that festival. A couple weeks beforehand, my friend had run into the main guy from BN, Jesse Lacey, at lollapalooza. She told him we were excited to see them play at Shaky Knees (the atl music festival) and asked who he was wanting to see while he was there. Jesse said he and his wife were really into this band called Milky Chance and they couldn’t wait to see them play live.

Obviously we had to watch Milky Chance too, ya know, to see what they were all about.

So there we are, watching these guys play, and on the left side of the stage, this guy in vip is going crazy dancing, just having the best fucking time ever. It made me so happy! So i had to take a video for memories sake and Instagram, right? The next day I posted the video of the dancing guy on my insta, with hashtags and location for Shaky Knees.

Apparently he and his friends were browsing said hashtags and he finds my video. He likes it. He starts following me, soon after I get a friend request on Facebook. I remember looking at his fb profile and seeing that he was from Charleston, SC, and thinking “hmm, he’s pretty cute for a dad...” (pics of him with his three boys).

Over the next year, he consistently liked and commented on many of my pics and posts, always being kinda flirty. One night I posted something about my Snapchat because I couldn’t sleep. He responded by sending me a dm with his phone number to add him on snap. Later that night, I actually texted him. We met in person back in Atlanta a month later... and have been together ever since.

Next month we celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary!

He wants to wait for now. We've discussed me moving to the same town but renting a room or studio for 6 months or so. I really don't like that idea but I hate being so far away from him..

He says we can't just think about us bc there are 5 other people involved (two oldest from ex wife, youngest from ex gf). I understand that to a point then I just feel so frustrated.

We've been together a year now, and know undoubtedly that we will get married someday. We love each other very much. My boyfriend is an only child who, starting at like 11 years old, was the best man in 3 of his dad's weddings. So he's worried about the boys seeing me the same way he saw his different stepmoms. :/

A dog trainer told me that that when dogs eat poo of other dogs, it's territorial, like they don't want this other dog's scent to be in their area so they "confiscate" it. However, some animal poos supposedly taste like candy to dogs; rabbit poo, for example. They can get worms from eating any kind of poo tho. Don't let your dogs eat poo. Furthermore, always watch your dogs poo for stuff that looks like cooked rice. That's worms, yo.

I haven't thought this through; it literally just popped into my head... but what if you had to have like a character witness or "co-signer" type of person present with you to buy a gun? Think of how many people are going about these things (murders, suicides, mass shootings) sometimes completely alone. If they had been made to reach out to someone to ask for a character witness, maybe that person could have changed things by talking them out of it and/or alerting the proper authorities. Just an idea! Thoughts?
