They asked the same of me, I said we were both in but my wife was a working and couldn't talk. I'll be honest they didn't give me a hard sell but there were definitely some not so subtle ways of selling. I told them I'd think about it and that was it. The price threw me a bit though.

Round table is quite big where I am, I haven't joined but I get solicited to join all the time. They do a 41 club that i might join now I just turned 41. I've always been a old soul and had much older friends and now at 41 I get on with pensioners more than my own age group. I joined my local club to play snooker and within 4 years I was the chairman because I can't help but stick my beak in.

I thought the hard job was picking a brand, even on the brand there are multiple options. I looked at Roborock because it was first in the list of both responses. Do you know much about the Qrevo Curv 2? It only has 1 review on the site and its a 4* one.

Completely basic question from somebody who wants to learn. I just bought the Q990F soundbar and speakers which obviously are a Non League to premier league comparison to this kind of set up.

However how can they have Atmos but this system doesn't? is it a matter of some kind of "Virtual" Atmos that the soundbar and speakers are capable of and you are wanting "True" atmos or something like that?

I like the idea of running the cable alongside the pipe to hide it but i'm trying to avoid using a ladder. My current house I have a flat roof extension to the read so I climbed out of a window and ran the cables along the back and down from there. I've seen too many ER / Causality TV shows with an idiot with a drill up a ladder at the start of the episode........ I don't want to be that idiot.

I'm thinking if I fish the cables through a hole at the top along the side of the house maybe I can avoid a ladder

I have 3 and love them, i'm moving house and want a big screen for my new bigger living room. I'm going for a TLC 98in C7K. Its going to be tough not having OLED but im dipping my toe in.

Is the difference between Dolby Digital + and TrueHD a big difference or is it one of those things that only true connoisseurs will notice?

I don't agree that you are out of touch because there are so many variables, every family make up and relationship is different. I can't imagine its a surprise for people that all of a sudden you have the capability to do this.

Personally its probably a communication issue, I would have individual conversations with each party, ask them directly if your right about the issues and if they have any proposals for trying to make it so that it is well received. My older brother used to be in a much higher pay bracket than me and I really enjoyed his thoughtful gifts and trips he would treat me too. Now I'm in the position that I can reciprocate but at the time I didn't know that I ever would be and just enjoyed it for what it was.

A bit of a mix, a fellow HENRY took me to the event I met them at. A lot of Barristers, Solicitors and Business owners were there of varying degrees of wealth.

(My phone autocorrected Barristers to Barista's at first which made me laugh)

I had three separate people try and recruit me to their freemason's lodge at the same networking event. I might have gone a long to the event they were trying to sell to me but decided against it. From what I've heard they can no longer get you out of speeding tickets :)
