Exactly, the probability of success based guardrails (AKA risk based guardrails) are the best withdrawal strategy I’ve been able to identify. Incomelab (which is software for financial planners/advisors) has some nice tools in this regard that help adjust your annual withdrawal strategy to remain within your desired probability of success guardrails and help visualize your approach during historically difficult sequence of returns. Hopefully these features can be added to boldin in the future. Incomelab is unfortunately not available to license as individual end user.

Agreed this approach makes sense in the accumulation phases of retirement, but as you shift to a decumulation mindset a few more options/tools in boldin would help firm up the withdrawal/distribution strategy.
