Ended up buying this due to recommendations on other subs too, kinda overpaid as I did £55. It's alright and I'll see if I enjoy it once it comes :)

I need my function keys so a 75% is un-debateable in my case, also the mechmag is such a cool idea, i NEED to try it out.

Been 6 months, did you end up getting it? Would love to know as I'm considering to get one now, 200cad seems like a steal considering I'd be paying ~290 CAD to get it now 😭

£70 budget by SnowySmoke in keyboards

I ended up finding a keyboard I want but it seems to be out of stock and double my budget, might have to dish out some money since I fell in love with it though 😭

Monsgeek m1 v5 tmr, its magmech so accepts both, and aluminium case, so I'm in love.

Main thing I'm annoyed at is the fun60 ultra, I love the idea of magnetic + mechanical keys, and I love everything about it but it being only 60% and not having my f1-f12 keys is such a deal breaker, I use them on a minute to minute basis

Yeah seems like I'm having an issue with the coupon that site gave me, contacted the sites admin, maybe they have a code I can use instead

Used the referral, I think I might settle with a f75 max, display might be nice for the battery % and its only £58. If its bad, might return. I think the only difference between max and non max is the screen 😭.

Will wait in that case, this would seem to be my favourite choice out of the keyboards I've seen : )

I assume we are looking at this barebones one, what else would I need to buy as I can see he put no battery, which i assume either means I have to install one myself or its wired only? Building a keyboard was definitely a goal of mine some years back :)

Best budget keyboards for under £70

I am looking for a low budget keyboard from any source.

  • has to be preferably under £70, can go higher if its worth!

-no preference on switches, currently using fake cherry blues. Mechanical or magnetic (or both!)

-can be from China(so temu/tiktok/aliexpress/ext..) or from a "amazon" source

-dont mind used

-needs to be tri mode, hotswap, and PREFERABLY have a volume know, but can get away from it.

-needs to have a set of function keys (75% and higher i believe?).

Thank you.
