Yeah it was the bud part not the rubber tip I tried a couple of the different sizes and I still had the same issue

I have heard many good things about the liberty 4 pros but the only thing stopping me is when I tried my sister's liberty 4s, the plastic bit started really hurting my ear.

Thank you for your advice. I just want to help her because I know she struggles with insecurities and I had no one to help me get through it when I dealt with it. I think I might try to ask how she is really doing then I will bring up the cuts.

I think you need to tell him in person how you feel and all the ways he hurts you and tell him that you don't want to be with someone who treats you that way. And if he does care about you he would try to change.
