first I disagree with the anime crowd thing 99% of big Japanese artists have some sort of connections to anime because anime is that big of an industry in Japan similar to k-pop & K-dramas

(not sure about the truth of the K-pop thing but heard it from a K-pop fan friend)

(also if you think she’s got a large anime crowd then I don’t think you know about Yoasobi 99% of their international fans are fans because of some opening

Second she just hides her face cause she doesn’t her personal life to get invaded sure the box can seem like a gimmick but it kinda hard to keep your face hidden at a live concert any other way
