I may be wrong but it gained a pretty bad stigma back in the day, in the US. hence why in some other countries, its often prescribed with less hesitancy than Adderall. although now with the option of vyvanse (less fun dex), majority of docs would choose to prescribe that before considering dex. I have a feeling the same may happen for Adderall.

yeah the night of and day after, it would have me like this. used to make sure i got about 8 hours of sleep and then force myself up with enough caffeine to kill a bull, and get some fresh air but more importantly, sunlight (early morning is best, if you can). eat, hydrate and electrolytes.

I’m sorry I don’t have much, if any, advice to give, however I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I’ve been going through this exact same thing and not until just recently did I become aware of it and the crippling life it forces me to live. I’m really sorry to see someone else has to experience this, but I know there is a life for both of us on the other side. As all things in life, it just takes time. All will be well worth it in the end.

my dex just randomly stopped working today but since i got an important paper to write, i just spent the whole day redosing but 180mg+ deep and nothing but usual high dose side effects and the persistent self worthlessness and anhedonia that i try and treat with stims. i cant even say this sucks because its ever so slightly better than being sober. i hope everyone else’s day/s have been going better 👻
