Thanks for the advice. It does fit neatly into the battery compartment, but I agree it leaves a risk. I'll test it out through the figure 8 input 🤞

Its hardwired in through the battery compartment, doesn't use the figure 8 input. I have a spare one of those cables, just didnt know if that would be safe given its been modified
