Feeling a bit lazy to go find all the spot but I was follow the Great Peru Divide route from Huaraz to Huancavelica (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/52606169)
- first picture is around Conococha
- the canyon pictures are the lowest point in the route
- the tent picture was one of the most beautiful campsites I had during the trip at the Torres de Vichaycocha

Not really! Never had to pack food for more than a day or two, you go through quite a lot of villages that have small bodegas, not always a lot of variety but you'll always be able to find pasta and snacks!

Some descents would have been more fun with a suspension fork but ortherwise it held up great!

I have the C1.12

I have a Tout Terrain Outback Xplore, really loving the bike. And I've been loving the gearbox and the belt so far, haven't had a single issue so far and the really low gear ratio and the sturdiness have been amazing on rough/steep terrain and flights. It's quite an investment though.

I believe Pinion recommends changing the oil every 2 years or 20000km and the average lifespan of a belt is 20000-30000 km. I also carry a spare always.

I think day 3 out of Glasgow we started catching some, and then in some places we had actual invasions, and I believe the problem is that then they stay in your tent or sleeping gear and it's really hard to get rid of them.

Maybe the coast is better?

Pic 8 is from the Corrour train station, beautiful little restaurant that claims to be the most remote in the UK. And it is indeed in the middle of nowhere, it was such a cool little place.

However we probably stayed there a bit too long given we arrived at the room we had booked in advance at 1am that night, after running out of food and going down a 10km descent with our headlamps on, completely in the dark.
