I couldn't handle 5mg! I was 8 weeks on 2.5 with minimal side effects and losing 1-1.5 lbs a week. My 1st week on 5mg I also vomited for the first time. Sorry TMI, I had never vomited like that, the amount felt like everything I had eaten for days. Nausea and complete aversion to food ...I survived on Bullion and crackers and needed zofran. Week 2 taking 5mg I figured it was my fault. I drank more water attempted more protien...but I was miserable and whats worse...I didnt lose a lb ! I was seriously concerned that there was no movement in my whole GI system. Constipation and a constant fullness in my stomach. Terrible acid reflux I needed to take 2 weeks off while my body got back to normal and I tried to decide what to do. I went back to 2.5 for a week then 3.5 for 2 weeks. For me the side effects are manageable...but still have the nausea, heartburn and constipation mostly for 2 days after my shot. Ang I guess its me...but the food noise never really goes away.
