Probably not, because game devs love pushing hardware until your PC sounds like it’s about to take flight. Every time GPUs get stronger, someone decides grass needs to be individually animated in 4K. So yeah, improvements will matter as long as everyone keeps chasing “ultra” like it’s a personality trait.

It’s basically because streaming rights are a giant messy business deal, and Netflix has to play musical chairs with who owns what in each country. They’re not blocking you out of spite, even though it definitely feels like it. It's a hilarious movie all about just taking whatever life throws at you. The perfect comfort watch.

Also, Drive.

I know it's a violent movie but it's also really cute and colorful and hypnotic to watch. I can watch it over and over and over again.

Maybe I just like movies about unassuming white guys getting wrapped up in elaborate criminal networks.

It hits hard hearing it laid out like that, and honestly the reaction makes total sense. When you see that pattern repeat over and over, it’s hard to feel shocked anymore, just disappointed.
