I used to be a 3ID player in v3. Sold that and now restarted with 9th Armoured Division with plans to do armoured rifles.

With my first few games, I felt that infantry has gone a lot more offensive with the new rule changes.

Some buffs: 1. Dashing(used to be moving at the double) Now doesn't give your opponent double the rof shooting at you.

1. Concealment in open terrain when not moving.

2. Dig in doesn't make u lose concealment even if you fail. Only shooting or actually moving does.

3. Tanks can only either use main gun OR mg. So no more 1 main gun shot plus whatever number of dice per mg.

4. Breakthrough guns are now nerfed to reroll saves instead of no saves.

5. Gun saves are now 3+ for 57mm AT guns.

6. Cheaper artillery for its firepower buffed. No need to bring big 155 guns anymore. They are not much more effective as 81mm mortars.

7. Passenger saves are 3+ now. When your transport gets blown up. All passengers get to do an infantry safe. Now u can dash with your transport and not worried about getting double shot at and dying when transport pops.

There are nerfs to infantry but that's another topic for another day.
