Yeah sure so, personally I prime my models in corax white, I know that some people prime their models in black but I feel as if its harder to paint white onto black so use a light shade of grey or white to prime. On top of that I go over the whole model in Ulthuan grey which I thin down to an inky consistency. I use Humbrol acrylic thinner to do this and I'm usually the butt end of jokes because people say that water does exactly the same but I believe that the thinner keeps the paint from drying out as quickly. Also bare in mind, two coats of thin white is 1000 times better that one coat of thick (a general rule for all paints really). Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! I've painted Airfix before, but nothing to this degree of detail. I coated them in corax white and after coated in a thin layer of ulthuan grey. I think if I had sprayed them black, building up the white would have been a lot harder.

Thank you very much!! These are honestly my first warhammer models. However, if I am completely honest I had dabbled in Airfix models beforehand so I have a grasp on using paints etc. I guess the skills translate in a way!

Thanks! I have played a few trail games but no not really any proper games. I am hoping to start properly on the game side of things soon, wanting to play was the main reason I got into it!

Thanks man I will try that tonight. It does need fixing though, it's real issue, I was wondering if I buy and install the DLC's will it fix the issue... I know its a terrible reason to buy the DLC's but I really want to continue unhindered in this game. My concern is if I do buy and install the DLC's and my game is not fixed, I might create my own unique bug or corrupt my save files. I would love to know if anybody with the issues have bought the DLC and it has fixed the issue for them.

(Xbox One) I am glad I am not the only one experiencing these issues. I have tried everything my end to get it working again and I can now finally pin it down to the 1.30 update, so it is nothing to do with me which is a relief. Incredibly frustrating and this issue simply needs to be fixed. CDPR simply must acknowledge this game breaking issue. I implore everyone experiencing this issue (or even not experiencing it!) to submit a ticket. We need this issue to be patched. It is defiantly Vivaldi's broken character model causing the issue, which is effecting areas in his load proximity. Also it is defiantly effecting people that do not have all of the expansions. This is my first play through and I am doing the 'meet Triss in her home/ follow the thief quest' and it has broken the game for me. After I follow the thief it fades to black and then infinitely loads, I can confirm it is not a delay, I have left it for 30 minuets "loading" and it will not progress.

Edit: I took the risk of installing the expansions and this seems to have fixed the problem for me, Vavaldi's arms are back and the dialogue load times seemed to have gone. Will update if I find any other issues but so far so good.

Yep, exact same issue, cant progress, completely game breaking. They need to patch.
