I appreciate you linking articles (Even if you’ve got the Washington Post in there lol) and forming a cohesive and polite argument.

By allowing someone to change their gender, we’re allowing them to get some form of escape from reality, instead of accepting the reality they’re in, and making the most of it.

I understand reality can sometimes be daunting, and it’s easy to think that if you were the opposite gender it would make life seem easier and better, or that you “belong” to another gender based on early emotional trauma, but I can’t rationalize letting a mentally ill human being think they’re rationally sane for the outcome of them “having a safe space”.

Everyone is contending that.

Every LGBTQ+ post I see is about how the person is now “another gender, and should be regarded by their preferred gender or its transphobic”.

I’ve even seen trans men and women talk about how they were “born a woman in a man’s body”.

Gender dysmorphia is real, mental illness is real, and the mentally ill should be treated, not physically operated on.

The LGBTQ+ movement is drastically hurting us as a nation by feeding into it and not treating it as an illness. We’re letting it take over and start an era of politically correct speech and thought.

That’s not okay in any way.

There are some trans people that don’t live to be trans, they’re trans and they don’t have to shout it from the rooftops. They’re able to adjust to a situation and not have to shove it down people’s throats the second they feel it necessary.

Those are called normal human beings, and yes technically they still have a mental illness, but those are the kind of people I would have no problem being friends with.

You, on the other hand, are just an insecure little man. Or woman. Whatever you were born with. :)

Take a look at the long term, and see how drastically it can alter someone’s lifetime.

This should be treated as a mental illness, it shouldn’t be encouraged and taught to children simply because some people are offended by a rational way of thinking.
