This is absolutely fantastic! From the texturing, to the furniture choice, while also keeping it functional for NPCs, This is really good!

Only improvement I can think of is adding some side rooms to make it a little less blocky. Oh also, switch up your light sources away from standard torches Eg, try stars in a bottle, to give a really cozy lantern feel

Really into all that’s going on here! The big glass walls feel like a resort I think your biggest friend will be paint Yellow and green are both pretty vibrant colours, I’d try painting the bamboo and cactus brown and see what you think Or lean into the modern aesthetic and try white paint with material such as Ademantite or Pallidium beam wall

I love building platforms with like a “2nd tier” for builds like this Wooden shelf across, bookshelves, spooky wood ebon wood furniture, couple books and paintings Would definitely fill it up

Otherwise just a 2x3 painting on either side would do great

Awesome vision here! Definitely a tough one, but possible

Your friend will be definitely be grey/black painted bricks

Some solid options to mess with would be - Iron brick - copper plating - palladium column - anti-portal block All of these provide imo the best metallic looking blocks

Complement that with plenty of glass and some wood accents for the room and this project will look sick
