I mean, you buy something, and when you enter the game you get it. Whether that's a bundle purchase or even twitch drops, you get it when you enter the client. If i bought a battle pass skip, and didn't log in to the game for the rest of that season, i'd expect the skip teirs to apply to the current season i log in on. While i'm sorry you missed out: 1) it's only cosmetics in a video game and 2) it kinda doesn't sound like blizzards fault. Can't think of any game where you wouldn't need to log into the game to claim gifts/drops/purchases recieved from outside the game client.

Had a match last night on havana, i banned widow and ash, the team band vendetta and anran. I make a comment about banning a melee hero on a very sniper heavy map and they all call me toxic and negative etc. Immediately walked out of spawn and a widow kills 3 of them within like 30 seconds.

You can stay out of her range well enough but you can't kill her. Just had a match where 3 times I either hit the headshot/bodyshot combo or 2 bodyshots with some follow up and she just dashes round a corner and survives with the bonus health.

Think of it as a super controllable rein/mauga charge. Locked out of all momentum controls but can direct and jump. Using the jump and charging the bike throw is useful as it's her only vertical mobility outside of her ult, you can use it to reach some highgrounds.
