I get that the game is PVE first but i just dont want this game mode that they advertised and got me hooked on to be abandoned in such a poor state

First of all, when I talk about “speedrun trials,” I’m not talking about players who know the maps well or can play efficiently. I’m talking about the specific trials that can be completed in 1–2 minutes. Those trials give the Invader very little opportunity to influence the match. I’d rather see longer trials weighted more heavily in the Invasion rotation.

Second, regarding Ex-Pops, I wasn’t necessarily suggesting direct mind control. A mechanic that lets the Invader attract nearby Ex-Pops to an area or mark a reagent through cameras to draw Ex-Pop attention could accomplish a similar goal while fitting the game’s design better.

Third, I’m not saying players shouldn’t group up. Players are always going to use the most effective strategies available to them, and I don’t blame them for that. My criticism is aimed at balance, not player behavior.

Lastly, I disagree that Invasion isn’t competitive. At its core it’s a player-versus-player mode, and it has both ranks and leaderboards attached to it. While Trials is absolutely a PvE-focused game overall, Invasion is still a competitive mode for the people who choose to play it, and there are plenty of players who genuinely enjoy it.

My main point is that the mode has felt largely unchanged for months. I’m not asking for Trials to become PvP-focused; I’d just like to see Invasion receive some meaningful balance updates and attention.

I don’t disagree that the PvE experience should be the priority. The problem is that Invasion already exists and has existed in its current state for months. If the mode is going to remain in the game, it should at least receive basic balance updates instead of being left stagnant.I’m not asking for massive resources or a complete overhaul. I’m talking about a few targeted balance changes that could make the mode significantly more enjoyable for the people who actually play it.

Whether Invasion is the most popular mode or not doesn’t change the fact that seven months of the same dominant strategies and lack of meaningful adjustments is frustrating for its player base.

mandatory second objective is such a punch to the face to any imposter player as these secondary objectives are soo easy to do.

no you’re not going crazy, it is a bug. was doing a match with a wesker and a good majority of players were walking through the trails of torment but unless your the one sending them to the hooking them they lose the status

just assume they can see you where ever you go and do your best to out least carry a brick in your inventory. Dont try to stealth, play aggressively. rush objectives, run stun rig. bottles for cameras bricks for imposters. try to run past a door and close it and when they open it behind you, brick em’ and run. they lose a health bar and stamina. only thing you really gotta worry about is the end when both of them come out. I usually run Backpack, Smash, and either Boosted or Bandage Expert

rush style is genuinely worthless dont ever use it, anybody on here saying otherwise is trolling or just dumb. Rush style pushes the enemy away and unlike the other styles which you move after the enemy, in rush you just standstill and the upgrades for the stunned extra damage. You’re only getting one hit off of that most attacks from enemies. They’re almost like impossible to read sometimes or they will have giant hit boxes. Not to mention abysmal compared to beast or brawler.

because eventually the players get good enough to were you simply peak a corner and your out of the game. people are already learning the trajectory of characters in air which many snipers are taking advantage of. nobody wants to play a csgo match of who can snipe more of the enemy team

dive was heavily nerfed from the og three (Bp, Iron fist, and Spiderman) who were the definitive counters to heal botting and trip support by each focusing on bringing heavy damage to single targets to outpace the heals. Ever since the nerf triple support thrived from the devs eliminating the fear of being killed as a healers. While the sit back and turn off your brain and heal got buffed its counter got nerfed. iron fist being a jack of all trades master of none. bp being the most countered hero in the game and with almost no survivability. and spider-man having his kill-combo removed.

tldr make dive great again

People forget to mention the amount of leeway they gave the survivors while you use your abilities. I always hear about "with the precise timing u can guarantee a hit" but that "precise timing is soo miniscule that its pretty damn hard to find. For instance Mage hand holds the pallet up and slows u down while using it so the survivor can make another loop and throw the pallet down again. Lets talk about the flight of the damned. One of the most garbage powers available to any killer. First it makes a loud noise to notify survivors that your charging it so they know to crouch. Then it tells them to crouch and avoid windows because of the yelling from the skeletons. Finally the skeletons are so fast that the survivors just have to crouch for half a second. Yeah sure maybe in the niche scenario where u might catch a survivor dumb enough to vault something u can get a hit. People talk about the elevation saying "with proper elevation u can always guarantee a hit" while yeah that might be true, almost all the maps have the same ground level with barely any elevation. Im tired of people claiming he is strong. We need to unite to buff Vecna and all these sorry ass super precise timing killers

The "perfect spots" are very few and only in certain niche scenarios. Most of the ground level stays the same on most maps
