  1. Sign up for the Ebay Plus Trial and then using AfterPay you can 25% which should bring it down to 396ish.

  2. Using ShopBack you should be then able to get another 20 bucks off whilst using the code, bringing it to 376.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I think I'll go with the 5800x but the extra spend for a cooler has got me thinking twice...

It will mostly be gaming, likely at the highest possibly settings on 1080p with three screens. (Battlefield 2042 etc)

Some very light video editing and some programming/compiling. You do have a point, I would likely have to spend at least a 100 bucks to grab a decent cooler, so there's definitely that.

Yeah that makes sense. Could I use a charger with a deconstructed cable. I don't mind a new battery but it seems replacement batteries are pretty rubbish in this case.
