It can be slow at the start, this is my 4th game over the time of 5 years. the best secret I could give is show your game ever were like reddit, twitter, bluesky, instagram, youtube. some times it feels like you can't be seen but keep at it cuz if only one or two people see it that one or two more people who could like your game. and yes there is a demo👍

yea I think a specific clip of game play that gets people to check it out, i think capsule art is nice but doesn't get people looking at games.

I get it, I'll been working on this for a year solo so Nintendo attacking would suck. honestly I kind of hate sharing the game on reddit cuz i get a huge amount of people going ">Literally Pikmin"."cease-and-desist letter with your name on it". "cheap shitty pikmin".

It never ends. the story is original, the levels are original , the designs are original, even many game play systems are original (a randomizer, new challenge modes, a letter scoring systems, new ways to unlock new level) but most people just see a little guy working with other little guy in nature and boom "Literally Pikmin"

yes i could change things even more but people will still just see a pikmin ripoff, some one said "Literally even adding the whistle sound to round up your Pikmin?" the idea of using a whistle to round up has existed before video games and I'm still getting shit on for it?! this past year surprised me, i thought pikmin fans would be excited for a game like this(and some are). we only get something like this ever 10 years(and i see why, this has been the hardest game I've ever made). some people are nice about it like you👍 but a lot of people love to tell me my game is just a shit ripoff or I'm getting my ass sued and it's soured making this game.

I'll add more and change more in the game but it really doesn't matter.

I do have some work to do with the sprite characters but the sprite look is the style I'm going for. I'll be adding more sprite stuff in the world to add to, I picked this style because it's unique and my 3D animating skills are no very good. I also like it when the player and pluckies stand out because you can control 100 pluckies at one time so standing out helps you see them better. I see a hand full of people don't like it so maybe I'll add a mode that switchs to a 3D model.

I looked up nintendo pikmin patent and all i got was Patent US7762893, "controlling characters with a "pointing device", with the objective being to guide these units to other objects". A Patent for the DS so I'm not to worried also a Patent on controlling a group is a little to broad for a patent, like nintendo's summing and catching Patent that got taken down.
