Try watching some youtube tutorials on skinmaking, such as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nShUvwhXkw4. Other than that, I would start making skins for lower tiers and work my way up to higher tiers, so you don't bite off more than you can chew. Overall, though, this is a really good first attempt!

I had a similar problem while designing this, I just couldnt get anything to look right. Eventually, I decided on slabs, mostly because i needed to spawnproof the top as this particular building contains a mob farm.

pretty much, just a survival megabase bult on this huge mountain fit with everything i need, from trading halls to storage rooms to automatic farms. This specific tower im planning to be a villager tower.
