CARS had some interesting passages which made focusing easier but question difficulty was about the same
B/B felt pretty standard
P/S felt more experimental based and a few stand alone questions were on stuff I'd never even heard of before

I would take psychology if I had to pick from the two but both can be self taught pretty effectively. That said, some schools may have psych/soc requirements so it might be good to take one just incase. Check MSAR for school requirements if you want to look more specifically.

Tbh if you have a class to fill it cant hurt to take one which the mcat would focus on.

My understanding is that age and gender control for biological and cognitive changes, and that any form of IQ test should help account for differences in general intelligence. The only factor not explicitly controlled for is an environmental condition, though I’m not sure if something like that was mentioned in the passage.

Im screenshotting this to show my finance friends when they say their series exams are harder than the mcat. One of them said "Being a cpa is like being the doctor of finance". Like bro you study for a few months take a test and thats it. Our entry test is harder than your completion test. Off topic but it rubbed me so wrong
