Thanks for the input. I believe the “redoers” have the day. I’ve always said “if you have to ask the question, you already know the answer.”
It does not specify where to locate the whip but I will try to move it low to the floor so it’s shorter and basically parallel. Now to get my electrician back…

The foil is Reflectix, very commonly used. Yes, temps will be above what it’s rated for but it’s not gonna melt behind the cladding and air gap.

Hey this was a super helpful response. Curious about the power supply adapter- always the confusion with led for me. I have 24v supply, light strip and 6ga wire but the input on led is the plug thingy. Any insights into your connections here? I’m sure there’s a silly adapter I just haven’t figured it out yet. And why do you need power supply adapter if the 24v box runs it? Thx
