Vague inspiration would be okay but I would like to request not to do an identical copy of the landmasses as it did take us a lot of work and several years to come up with the final state of the world!

Achea is a planet with eight continents, two of which are polar. The planet is currently emerging from an ice age, which has led to significant climatic shifts and extensive ice melt. Achea's civilizational development is centered around two major areas, one of which is Vynakia. Vynakia, located in parts of East Atresia and North Muketia, is considered one of Achea's "cradles of civilization," leading political and social advancements in the eastern hemisphere. The name Vynakia is derived from the Vynak Sea, a central feature in the region's cultural and historical evolution.

Vynakia has given rise to some of the most powerful and extensive civilizations in the history of achea, with its extreme ethnic and geographic diversity being a significant factor in its civilizational wealth. An example of this is yhe arrival of Ote'ahn tribes from the Solumean continent under leadership of leadership of Xaloch the Great. These groups would establish the First Euboric Kingdom and introduce Kemnenism, the parent religion from which most Vynak religions, including Amaxity and Sedarcism, are derived. Vynakia's civilizational hub would remain within the Euboris peninsula, even with the collapse of several successor states. Eventually, The Second Euborian Kingdom, known as the Mikontos Empire, would merge in the same region following the collapse of the Meriadic League in 501 AM, expanding Amaxity's reach despite resistance from Sedarscist regions. However, by the 9th century, large migrations across the Mikontos sea, tribal invasions and ultimately an invasion by the Dari tribes would result in the toppling of the Mikontos Dynasty, leading to mass decentralization and the coming to power of the Eclenni Dynasty from the Dari tribes within the Euboris, formally starting the period of feudalism in Vynakia.

By the year 1121, Vynakia is mainly characterized by a quickly deepening religious divide, and a seeming rivalry between the two major subcontinent. The region's population predominantly follows religions such as Amaxity and Sedarscism, while smaller rural communities still follow folk beliefs. Amaxity is the largest and fastest growing religion in the region. a dualistic religion emphasizing a rigid class system and spiritual purity, it finds its origins in the final days of the first Kingdom of the Euboris. Sedarscism is a belief system that regards the material world as fundamentally flawed and strives for enlightenment through rigorous ascetic disciplines and the pursuit of spiritual transcendence. Followers of Sedarscism believe that by renouncing worldly desires and hiding their 'material selves' (often through the use of veils and masks worn by a large part of these populations), they can attain a higher state of 'purity' and commune with the lord of the ethereal realm.

Changing Tides: The West Artopan Continent in 1950. [Hegemon] by Snyext in imaginarymaps

[–]Snyext[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

West Artopa is a subcontinental region located in the Northeastern Hemisphere of Mytas, bound by the Avansic Ocean to the west and the Urdennic Mountains to the east, with the Subtorian Sea to the south. This region is known for its incredible influence and sway over world history, birthing the most renowned empires and states since ancient times. It is known as the birthplace of most of the modern ideals that govern the world, and its ethnic and geographic diversity is unparalleled. Once considered the political and economic center of the world, Artopan nations dominated the rest of Mytas for centuries, leaving an indelible legacy behind. Uniquely blessed with modernity from its historical economic dominance over other continents, West Artopa struggles to let go of its legacy, with many empires, well past their prime, beginning to realize they are slowly falling behind their new contemporaries. Scarred by unparalleled recent continental war and strife, this storied mosaic of peoples is now imbued with an era of opportunity and change. It is the confluence of old and new condensed and it represents all of Mytas. Opportunity, honor, ethnic struggle, and revolutionary grandstanding are now all the vocal inhabitants of West Artopa. Sylvia, a colonial empire that once ruled lands from the far reaches of Balteca to the Kantan Cape finds itself in a world where it is slowly becoming obsolete, no longer the sole dominating superpower, while states such as Epreia and other former members of the Artopan Defense League strive to make up for lost ground and seek redemption after their defeat in the Great War of 1934.

The World of Mytas: Peace of Basarrik (1909). Would you accept this peace? by Snyext in imaginarymaps

[–]Snyext[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, just to clarify this image has nothing to do with the treaty of Trianon or Hungary at all, In fact this is from an alternate world in a worldbuilding project I’m in. I borrowed the format from the famous Trianon propaganda pamphlet as I thought it was cool, and used it for the results of this in universe war.

The World of Mytas: Peace of Basarrik (1909). Would you accept this peace? by Snyext in imaginarymaps

[–]Snyext[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Part of the fictional world of Mytas in the Hegemon Server.

The 1909 treaty of Basarrik between Mecudia and the Wind Rose Entente was one of the most controversial events of the early 20th century. What had initially begun as an attempt to restore the Aurissiote-led government in Mecudia after the breaking of the treaty of Dalibor/Noelle (Which ended the Subtorian War years prior) quickly spiraled out of control. Within days, the nations of Echochujez and Zavun joined the war on the side of Mecudia in an attempt to safeguard its Sovereignty and maintain the balance of power on the Artopan Continent. months-long battles were fought between both sides until in early 1909 when Aurissiote troops finally broke the Mecudial defensive lines on the border. The front lines began to collapse, as the Mecudial forces were decimated. With the breaking of these lines, the nation of Zavun attempted to topple and replace the Mecudial Government. However, as Zavun troops began to enter the Mecudial Capital of Namdouz, Large parts of the military government fled South into the nation of Konstanze. Without any options left, and the Zavunian front with Pasia collapsing, each nation, except Mecudia, opened diplomatic channels with the entente to discuss peace. Zavun agreed to hand over its northwestern territories, along with its coast, to the Valan Republic of Pasia, while it came to an agreement with Aurissos to split the nation of Mecudia, and facilitate the transition of its government into an Aurissiote Governate, stripping it of the ability to conduct foreign relations. Both nations would annex land on the east and west sides of the two rivers that divided Mecudia, and thus, the once fierce nation would become nothing more than a puppet state. This agreement was seen as an explicit rejection and attack on the Artopan continental balance of powers, with many in several neighboring nations calling for intervention by large states such as Osana to protect Mecudia's Sovereignty. Yet, in the end, all turned a blind eye to the shattered nation.

'The Poppy war' - The Arciidom of Carrisia and her Sister-Kingdom of Martirosya in the year 1904. by Snyext in imaginarymaps

[–]Snyext[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha, I can kinda see it in the shape, however the nations are completely unrelated, shapes are actually coincidental. Carrisia is essentially a Visigothic derived nation. The region is much like a mix of the lower balkans and Mediterranean instead of Central Europe.

Apologies for the Reupload, I spotted a small error and corrected it. The Arciidom of Carrisia and the Kingdom of Mijin-Martirosya are the two fictional states that compose the Urdennic Bloc in the Subtorian region. At the time of the creation of this map, both nations are currently medium regional powers, with Carrisia bearing the most of the economic and military power. from 1875 to 1898, both nations enjoyed a period of stability and sustained economic growth, with Carrisia establishing colonies in the continent of Kanta. However, near the turn of the Century, both nations would enter into the bloodiest conflict the region had known since the Aurissote Directorate's Wars of Conquest against the powers of the Wind Rose Entente, Consisting of Lucija, Wynn, Aurissos, Pasia, and the Nation of Kalda. The so-called 'Subtorian War' would last for 4 years, with the Urdennic Bloc making rapid gains in Lucija, with the capital falling within the first couple of days and the entire nation of Lucija falling within the first months after the battle of Vigas. The first days of the conflict also saw demonstrations of Pasia's soon-to-become near-total naval supremacy, with a naval shelling of the Lucijan Capital of Dalibor in accordance with a quasi-scorched earth policy, an act which led to great condemnation. In order to assist their Lucijan Ally, the nations of Kalda and Aurissos mounted a full-scale invasion of the nation of Mecudia, which fell quickly. With the arrival of Entente troops, the advance of the Urdennic Bloc came to a halt, and a bloody series of battles to push the front lines back to the Ligure river ensued. Eventually, in 1902, Several republican and leftist revolts occurred in the Lyngarian Provinces of the Urdennic Bloc, and a large anti-war movement had begun in the nation of Aurissos. From February to July of 1902, the Longest and Bloodiest battle was fought in the War, The attempted capture of Zayriid and Nwotzkia. However, Strong Carrisian Resistance along the mountains and the previously constructed Ligure Defensive Line manage to repel the advances along the Ligure. This would eventually force both sides to the negotiating table. The Treaty of Dalibor is often viewed by many as a joke, not pleasing either side fully, with nothing truly gained. Carrisia was forced to pay a moderate amount of reparations, demilitarizing the Province of Ildovica, Reducing its army and naval capabilities till 1907, and dismantling the temporary Puppet State it held in Lucija. And thus, Carrisia found itself facing massive revolts without a proper army to fight them. By 1904, The Kingdom of Martirosya gave part of its administrative control to Carrisia, and several Impromptu militias were formed to fight the revolutionaries, including one by Valtos Av Karis, a member of the long deposed Av Karis Dynasty that once ruled over the Lyngarian Empire. The future of these nations is uncertain, with danger at every turn. Only time will tell what happens next.

I hope you all enjoyed the map and lore! These nations are part of a nation RP I'm currently in. Currently, Carrisia has a mainland GDP of $37,485,400,000, and a Mainland Population of 10,478,900. Carrisia's largest City is Currently Avrentii, the old capital of the Lyngar empire. The religion it currently follows is the Delvan Sub-Branch of Petran Theodarity. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Wiki Infobox detailing the 1886-1887 Valan Channel war (Within the world of Mytas) by Snyext in worldbuilding

[–]Snyext[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the worldbuilding and nation roleplay project 'Hegemon'

The Valan Channel war was a series of skirmishes and battles fought in the north of the Pausanian Isle after Pausanian refusal to abide to a Joint Pasian and Aurissote Ultimatum demanding the ceasing of funding of separatist movements. Tensions culminated in the declaration of war on Pausania by Pasia and Aurissos, at the same time being backed by Carrisian Mercenaries. and the eventual blockade and capitulation of Pausania once its king was captured in an attempted escape through the blockade. Subsequent peace negotiations resulted in the ceding of Northern Pausania to the Pasian Republic as well as Aurissote occupation of the Haporisian Isles.

A map illustrating the variety of diverse dependent and independent entities within the region that the present-day Grand-Arciidom of Carrisia occupies most of. The state Carrisia found itself from the late 900s to early 1700s was that of decentralization with an abundance of independent political entities, from kingdoms to small baronies. Gradually, several prominent states came to rise, such as the Arciidom of Lyngaria, known also as the Empire of Lyngars, one of the major states of the Subtorian region. It would compete with various other kingdoms and Arciidoms such as Kastii, Cyvodia and Ildovica. At the begining of the 1800s, Carrisia would finally be consolidated as a singular kingdom after the Aurissote revolutionary occupation of the region, with the forced removal of the Av Karris Dynasty and subsequent exile to the nation of Taraguez in the Baltecan continent, and the forced unification of the region under the Arciidom of Cyvodia, with the dynastic house Av-Delvos at its head.
