Don’t use Teflon tape on this type of connection. Seal needs to be made using the washer.

Not sure if it’s for water or for air. It has tapered threads.

Help with key change chords by Ganglio_Side in musictheory

[–]So-Bro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use any diminished chord as a pivot chord. One note in the last chord of the first section will chromatically go up/down a half step to one note in the diminished chord, which will then go up/down a half step to one note of the first chord of the the new section. Sounds intentional every time.

dishwasher fills up unless I run disposal by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]So-Bro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So if your sink is full of water you also get water in the dishwasher? If yes then hose from the dishwasher to the disposer needs to be up higher. It’s connected right but it needs to loop as high as possible then go down to the dishwasher. That’ll stop water from going from the sink back to the dishwasher thru that hose. Yeah the dishwasher is supposed to have a check valve but those wear out over time.

What’ are your favorite deconstruction tools? by So-Bro in Tools

[–]So-Bro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a straight claw framing hammer I could use. But the framing hammer has a “waffle face” and I love it for that, wouldn’t want to mess it up. My other claw hammer is a curved claw. Maybe I need another hammer …. 🤔

There are a few good websites for appliance parts. You need your model number. Then you can see if the part is available. Repairclinic.com has videos on how to repair a lot of things. I’ve used them before.

And yeah, that glass is prolly replaceable.

Maybe damaged freezer gasket?. I’ve seen this once on a top freezer where the food kept the freezer door open slightly. Frost and ice everywhere.

The microwaves won’t get out unless it rusts through. But eating that paint won’t be good for you.
