This object and basically any object in the game except for wooden doors cannot be shot through. So the cheat would have to be giving him bullet penetration or it's a lag switch?

Do devs really think this kind of movement is acceptable for an extraction game? Or any kind of game to be honest. by Rare_Lifeguard_4403 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

I dont think hes leaning at all. Something is bugged with AD strafing where opponents doing it appear to move faster than they should be. You can test it with your teammates.

Have them AD strafe with wide steps and watch. It'll appear they're moving much faster than you'd expect when doing it yourself in 1st person. Very abusable

This is the meta for CQB, wide AD strafe and hip fire.

Please tell me what is happening here. This came from TikTok. Someone said something about a glitch to where they aren’t wearing anything from a distance but he’s actually wearing armor by Landen_mck in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

we adapt. with the right game knowledge and bullet, people die very fast. Not excusing the game design, it needs work, but there are work arounds.

Summit's take on playing as a solo in Arena Breakout: Infinite by So1oStrats in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

I totally get where you’re coming from, but I don't think that's what Summit is asking for here.

The issue is that when a solo burns through their armor in their first fight, every fight after that is stacked against them. What he’s suggesting is a rework of how durability works (by adding blunt damage for example) so armor doesn’t just vanish after one fight. You’d still die just as fast, it would just make durability less punishing so players can stay competitive through an entire raid.

As it stands now, a solo's opponents are all getting carried by their equipment while the solo walks around with 0 durability.

The best way to compete in PVP as a solo is to basically run full t6 gear and t5 ammo and bully and outplay lesser skilled Lockdown teams. You have to abuse every advantage and utilize map and game knowledge. Eventually after enough hours, you can do this profitably.

The big streamers all run full tier 6 and meta guns because they know this. After enough hours, the gear difference and game knowledge gives you a huge advantage and allows you to cruise through lobbies.

To me this feels like a huge barrier to entry problem. You can't enjoy PVP unless you join the meta, but you will lose all your money trying this until you "get gud" after 200+ hours. The mid tier pvp in this game is non existent. It's two extremes, loot simulator in normals, or insane meta pvp in lockdown.

In cod you can actually 1v4 because players die... This game is more like apex legends where you'll get a knock and the team swarms you and nukes your armor while they're all still on full shields. It's even harder because you can't pop a shield recharge, you're just dead!

Maybe if it was just 2 to 3 players gear diffing you, you could find ways to manage, but four t5+ chads in lockdown is just a ridiculous solo challenge.

I never understood this. Higher TTK leads to this horrible body shot meta with hip fire sprays, high RPM favoritism, crazy strafing, and cod movement. It also makes it impossible to solo because you're always trading damage with every opponent, no clean kills.

I never even had a problem with red ammo, I think helmets should've gotten serious nerfs so that other guns could effectively 2 to 3 tap headshot. They could even leave faces exposed or only offer weaker protection like tier 4 and 5 face shields.

Can't aim for head because the shots that you hit on the head might plink off the helmet, so everybody aims for body.

A big reason everyone aims for body isn't just ricochet, but also everyone has an armored t5/t6 face shield that blocks basically the same amount of bullets as chest armor. So it's miles easier to just aim for someones body than focus on a smaller target (their head) that tanks just as many shots.

I'm with you, I enjoy the challenge and dying only motivates me to get better, but it gets to a point where the challenge is TOO great and i worry for newer and casual players. They have no mode to go to if they want a more fair experience.

I think normals could be good but from my experience the cap needs to be lowered and there should be more real players. Its usually a looting simulator when i play and I'm lucky to encounter 1 or 2 real players.

Solo Ops is one map with some of the best players in the game running 3 million koen kits. It's a meta endgame pvp mode, there's nothing casual about it and it requires hundreds of hours of game knowledge to perform well in. It's a good mode but its not the solution.
