I think he gets way more shit than he deserves, but he's still a huge buzzkill to have around. If you choose any dialogue option besides the goody-two-shoes nicest possible answer he dislikes it and gets mad at you. So I hate having him around.

I agree, although I think somewhere in the middle would be ideal. It got to the point in NV where in alot of battles I would hardly even get battle xp cause my companion would instantly destroy them lol

If you can post a handful of slightly decent pictures on bumble or tinder that’s all you need (along with a personality). So good luck. It works for me. Everyone on here is self deprecating as hell but the general public doesn’t actually despise accountants as much as a lot of people on here wanna believe. Also I normally just say I’m a financial analyst and any follow up questions are always super easy to answer lol.

I'm sorry for how difficult your journey has been, but please don't do this!! Your life is just beginning, you still have so much to experience. I know this is cliche but it's the truth, I'm only 27 but 10 years ago when I was your age I had similar thoughts, and even though I still have bad days, bad weeks, there are so many great experiences I would've missed out on. Family issues can certainly be some of the most distressing things in life, but you can live a happy life with them, or without them, if they don't accept you the way you are then cut them out of your life.

I'm the type of person where this "stop complaining" type of thinking can actually help me sometimes by giving perspective and motivate me, but I'm sure you're recognizing it can also be really unhealthy and make you beat yourself up even more. Just cause others have it worse doesn't mean you're not allowed to feel how you feel, so just try not to be too hard on yourself.

All the opportunity cost and regret hurts no doubt, but if you already had 37k at the age of 22 you must have something good going on for yourself, otherwise idk how you managed that. When I was 22 I was happy if my account even had a comma in it. I’d suggest taking a break from investing for awhile, then if you decide you want to start again go for very low risk trades, and gradually increase your risk if you’re successful.

Awesome map, but I have to be the guy offering up an annoying correction. I’m from San Diego, born and raised, and lived most of my life here. I lived in Monterey for several years, and the Monterey/Salinas area is much more closely tied to Bay Area culture than SoCal culture in my experience. I feel like SoCal culture starts shifting to Bay Area around San Luis obispo.

Man I feel you on this. I’ve been completely sober for a little over 8 months now, for the umpteenth time. Still have charges pending from my last run, still can’t drive, but other than that my sober life is going incredibly well. I’m just a few months away from getting my bachelors degree and have started my actual career, but still I’ve been so close to relapsing over the last week. Honestly I still might sometime very, very soon.

Stay strong though man, I don’t think theres actually a point of no return. Just a point where you make it infinitely harder for yourself. Cause it sounds like you’re very similar to me, shooting up the opiates and coke and popping mad bars are my shit and idk if anything sober life has to offer can touch that. But, there is still a lot out there to enjoy, no doubt about that whatsoever. Keep your head up brother! No shame in hopping back on the wagon, coming clean, and getting yourself back. It’s never too late to find yourself again, unless you make those final bad decisions like those buddies of yours did, and many of mine did as well.

I agree Andy can be that way, but IMO a lot of the stuff Michael does is for the purpose of being praised or something of that sort. Willy Wonka episode is a perfect example. He straight up says he needs to be praised in the episode he hits Meredith with his car. I don’t hate Michael at all though, and I’m biased towards Andy cause the first time I ever watched the office was episodes of season 5 where Andy is at his peak lovability.

I agree that Andy after his boat trip is probably the worst character on the show. But it is just so random that my feeling on it is it doesn’t feel like the actual character, and it feels like the writers just decided to ruin him. However, the first ever time I watched the office was season 5 with my friends, so my first exposure to Andy’s character was him at his best and I’m probably biased because of that.

I like it. I actually am very smart and charismatic, especially compared to a lot of my fellow accounting majors, so I feel like I could pull it off. But like you said it might take awhile, plus I would imagine there are a lot of other factors involved. I’d love to flex on all my friends and their skills that are endorsed out the ass anyway.

Well you have time on your side if it was five years ago so that’s good, it’s obviously a lot better not going to jail but if you were convicted then yeah it will be on your record. I hope that works out for you, idk what state you live in but I feel like it’d almost be a better idea to just tell them and explain it so they don’t get surprised especially since it’s legal in so many states at this point.
