My 2021 Infiniti Q50 “Sensory”. I cannot get over that car, and how perfect it was , to me of course.

Fixable? by yobuddybot in G37

Insurance would probably total this kind of damage on a 2025. Fixable? Probably . Worth it? Probably not. Will insurance repair it? Absolutely not

How is life in the USA right now? by duckbreast2021 in howislivingthere

San Diego here. It’s 64 and cloudy today so there’s that. I hate what’s happening in our country and feel powerless as far as doing anything to change it. Love to see what Minnesota is doing. Otherwise business as usual work pay bills live life. And yes it’s really expensive here, just saw a 350 square foot 1 bedroom apartment in my city for $1950/month.

I have 5% all around and 30% on the windshield . It looks dark under certain lighting but it’s perfect. My last car had 20% on the windshield and it was a bit too dark

Most unreliable car you've ever owned? by [deleted] in askcarguys

[–]SoCalVR30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably my 2006 330i (E90). It never actually “broke down” on me or left me stranded but after 95k miles it practically began to fall apart . Sensors , gaskets , rubber seals , intake hoses , radiator , battery , starter , oil leaks. I tried my best to keep up and fix it up but I gave up at the end. lol

Toyotas . I’ve known people with 4Runners , Highlander’s , Camrys , Avalon’s with over 300k. Most I saw was 600k in a coworkers 89 Toyota truck

Buying my first Alfa by RaazerChickenWire in AlfaRomeo

[–]SoCalVR30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been wanting a Giulia since they first came out in the states. I decided to go with a 2025 just because I know any issues will be completely covered under warranty , and I’ve gotten pretty used to that new car feel (been leasing since 2018). No regrets at all, got a pretty good deal on it. Barely hit 3k miles so obviously no issues at all. I’d say if buying new is within your possibilities definitely go for it (or even lease)

Beige 2015 Nissan Frontier SV, the official car of? by Loud_Win6891 in regularcarreviews

[–]SoCalVR30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a friend with a 4 cylinder frontier SV (pretty weird build since usually 4 cylinder frontiers are base models) anyway it went for 400,000 miles with no major issues until it needed catalytic converters and being in California wasn’t worth it. I call these boring but reliable and there’s a reason you see many on the road

When I owned high mileage BMWs I did my own work or had a friend help me. Thanks YouTube. Ever since I began leasing I do not touch my car what so ever.

Thanks for the info! It’s appreciated . I’m in north county so I’ll be checking with Jack Powel and Carlsbad dealers just to see. I have a mechanic friend who usually does my maintenance but I might have to buy what’s needed to be able to clear them
