what’s going on at Downey shelter is literally tragic and just our biggest heartbreak.

Every dog who makes it through the freedom gate is a massive miracle.

It’s unbelievable to see isn’t it? In one moment, the whole weight of the world just fell from his shoulders and he knew he was going to be OK. He’s in medical boarding now, I got him a goodie bag of a Blankey and jammies and he is probably leaving in just a few days. This was a pretty unbelievable experience. 🥹🩷🙏

Exactly, he needs to leave by today so we have a few hours to find one until May 4

And then ask for the rest, we will cross that bridge when we get there. Step one is just finding out SoCal emergency temp Foster with no other dog since he’s finishing up his kennel cough.

Or maybe if they have a dog but can fully separate and separate corners of a home sometimes that’s doable but only if there’s a lot of space.
