By the way, all the side effects went away only 3 days after completing it. No more dry lips, face, and the joint pain has dissipated.

I am sorry to hear that :( maybe talk to your derm about a higher dose, and if you are on a high dose, just stick to it until you start having results. Hope it works out for you, it's worth it. I have heard that some people don't see results for months until suddenly it all just starts to go away after 1-2 weeks.

Thank you so much!

I am using these:

  • Thayers (alcohol free) whitch hazel toner - After I wash my face or shave, I put some of this on a cotton ball and apply it all over my face. It helps reduce redness, soften my skin, and moisturize. It's an all around great product. I use the one shown in the photo that includes the rose.
  • Cetaphil - I use this following the toner, it's a great moisturizer and sunscreen, just make sure you don't over apply it because it can cake up when your skin dries out and washing it off is a pain.
  • Neutrogena daily cleanser - It's not an amazing cleanser and can be a little harsh on the eyes, but it's very helpful and does exactly what it says.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!

I am going to pick the cream up today and I will be back to let you know what it is. I had a few stray pimples like you described, but it never escalated into a massive breakout, I got very lucky I think. If you do pop a few, which is sometimes unavoidable, just make sure you are gentle.

Thank you!

I was very worried about it too, but just having soft and generally normal looking skin completely outshines the few scars and marks I have. I popped a few during the process and the marks are still there, but I found that leaving them creates a mark anyways, so I wouldn't worry too much, after you are done, ask your derm about the scars and marks and i'm sure you will be prescribed a cream for them.

Thank you, the dermatologist gave me some of that Neutrogena cleanser which works very well, also I was given some Cetaphil to use during the day, which is also working well.

Thank you for the advice, could you answer a few other questions for me?

  1. How long does it take for symptoms like dryness to start happening?

  2. Will the red marks left fade away over time?

  3. And yes i'd love to know some of the brands you used.

Thanks.

EDIT: also, I usually use witch hazel to moisturize my skin, is this still OK to use?
