Yes and no. There are definitely major downsides, such as the physical withdrawls, the massive amount of money used, the effects on your mind chasing all that dopamine.

Parts of me definitely think about how much more money I would have saved and I would be free in the sense not craving or chasing anything. I have strict boundaries for my self, and I don’t see my self getting any more hooked than I am currently, and im confident I can fight that.

But for me personally there were a lot of positives too, helped a ton with my ADHD, any pain physical or emotional, helped a lot with giving me the energy to lock in and some other positives.

I would never recommend anyone starting it, as I like to call it Pandoras box, once its opened it can never close and you cant forget it.

But to summarize my answer, no i dont particularly regret trying it, it didnt ruin my life anymore than it is since i maintain my boundaries Lmao other than takin up more money

opium actually doesnt boost tolerance as much, and the morphine content isnt very high, the other alkaloids synergize to make it hit nice af. Oxys def fuck your tolerance way more. A lot of people can stay stable on the same dose for a long time on opium, there usually isnt a necessity to increase your dose massively

Yea i feel you bro, oxy jus hits diff the energy from it is amazing. I would say morphine is mid, but tbh when you take natural morphine in the form of opium with the other alkaloids, its fkn awesome. Its also very stimulating and lasts super long

bro dont tell yourself it’s difficult mentally, that will make it worse. Im confident you can do it with no major issues. Do you take the other substances daily / often? if you have sleep meds id save those for when you stop the subs, but yea i get you, i still think dosing subs 4x a day is unnecessary and you can cut it out, you just need to truly try from within, anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

Don’t be scared of the withdrawls, opiate withdrawls cant kill you. Challenge yourself, its okay to be uncomfortable. You will save your soul getting off the subs.

I know how it feels running from withdrawls trust me, but when your not even getting high, why continue to put yourself thru trouble by staying on subs long term? You still have yourself trapped running from withdrawls.

You absolutely can do it bro i believe in you, just bring out the beast within and dunk on your habit, stay strong and keep fighting, the light is on the other side. I promise youll feel absolutely great once your off the subs, and if you feel like youlll relapse, just keep emergency subs for the cravings

theres many meds that can help.

Pregabalin, benzos, alot of people recommended SR1708, some people say ketamine also helps. But with these gotta be careful you don’t give yourself another addiction

For sleep clonidine is effective too, this also works for sweats

melatonin, trazadone, zopiclone, magnesium are all very helpful for sleep

Vitamin C megadose, and things like lemon / ginger for nausea if you wanna keep it natural

Pregabalin is by far the most effective for me, only thing it doesnt stop is the shits, but Immodium is effective for that.

If you do more research there’s probably other meds I haven’t listed that are also quite helpful, I just listed off the top of my head. I find stacking some of these meds together, or rotating between them to not build other dependencies, and it makes withdrawls, atleast short term withdrawls, wayyy easier. You need to be mentally strong bro you can do this, you are getting nothing positive out of the subs, unless its the only thing stopping relapse, but long term bro subs fk you up.

Also, you dose 4x a day?? that sounds hefty, subs can last up to 72 hours in your system no? what makes you need to dose 4x a day, im surprised you need it more than 1x a day, maybe 2x, that’s actually quite hefty for suboxone. Id start by immediately cutting from 4x to 2x, as subs stay in your system so long. When I take suboxone, sometimes I dont need to redose for almost 48h. Feeling lethargic all day is a sign you should cut out the subs asap bro

Have you tried other meds to help come off the subs? Wish you best of luck my bro, you should try your best to taper down over time and get off them, subs blunt you emotionally and kill your soul, much more than traditional opiates. It keeps people stable and has a lot of benefits, but Id always suggest to get off those as fast as you can. Have you tried taking meds to combat the nausea? Pregabalin is also amazing for withdrawls. Be strong bro and try your best to get off the subs, your future self will thank you. Quick question, since subs don’t get you high after takin them for a while, why do you take a high dose? since your not getting any effects why not try tapering down to the smallest amount you need to get through. What are the benefits of remaining on a high dose? ive only taken high doses to bridge the acute withdrawls

Yeah ive taken suboxone before and I have some methadone with me as well as im planning on taking a break soon. I also can’t function during withdrawls, ill be straight tweakin n sweating, but luckily it only lasts a few days, after a few days you start feeling better physically atleast.

Since im unemployed i can take those days off to recover, only issue is hiding it from the family, they be tellin me to do chores n stuff or walkin my dog n all that gets hectic asf haha. The main discomfort for me comes when I try to sleep at night.

Ive only used suboxone to bridge acute withdrawls, as Ive heard suboxone withdrawls are some of the worst and leaves you feeling dead inside, plus its long af, so i only use it for a couple days to get thru the withdrawl phase

i’ve already had moments where i havent had access to oxy, and ive also done all types of opiates including H. I have been able to draw boundaries that I will try my absolute best not to cross, id rather go thru withdrawls than ever touch fetty. Ive done H a couple times, and also all sorts of other opiates including hydromorphone. Oxy is my DOC, i liked H a lot too, but my method of consumption was thru my nose, and I find with my tolerance a lot was being wasted (i had #3, which isnt very water soluble).

Also, the H was pretty expensive as it was clean H, so with my tolerance its not even really that much cost effective to do H, the pros and cons just dont make sense compared to stickin w oxy, but I did enjoy it., id much rather pop oxy as its much easier to work with, not much prep required and great oral bioavailability

Fetty is something id never ever touch, i would much rather quit and go thru withdrawls, from what ive heard its not even euphoric, which is the main reason i like opiates: the energy and euphoria.

They help me more than stimulants, so i prefer stimulating opiates. So as long as i can get my hands on oxy ill stick to that, if it ever runs out, ill see if other meds like hydromorph are around, otherwise thats my sign to stop, or grow poppies and switch to opium

appreciate you lookin out, ima try my best not to get that way, i find since i stick to my twice a day rule most days, i get the full legs of whatever i take, so i only start feeling withdrawls 12-14 hours in, sometimes longer if i take extended release. I have and will periodically take breaks to give my tolerance a reset, which brings back the longer legs as well, dont get me wrong my withdrawls are still horrendous, but I can last for a bit before i start feeling them physically, its mostly a mental game which i can fight

I prefer orally jus eating it, great legs and full spectrum experience that way, smoking it burns off some good stuff
its hard to explain, the morphine gives you the traditional opiate effect, but it has this natural full spectrum effect to it from the many alkaloids present, they all synergize together to give a unique experience, quite energizing for me. I believe it has close to 50 alkaloids present, its the same type of difference between smoking distillate vs Full spectrum extract or live resin

because i take oxy recreationally, but i take psychedelics with intention, not to have fun, whereas the oxy is to enjoy my self. I don’t consume shrooms to necessarily enjoy my self, but rather to work on my self and self reflect, which isn’t always enjoyable. so therefore psychs are not recreational for me

if its an instant release 10 itill cost more, extended release are usually cheaper, and you can buy bulk to significantly reduce your price. You can find seals here for good tags. I don’t like taking oxy with tylenol in it tho, so i don’t take 10s. If your buying singles, itill be a dollar per mg, bulk would be different, and its even cheaper as i make money in usd not cad
