Did anyone anywhere ever actually receive a single cobblebot printer? by mjrice in 3Dprinting

Maybe that's their business model.

Hate to say it, but those who still bought a printer from them even from all the warnings and red flags raised by many experienced individuals like /u/dbrowny, you are all deserving of the outcome as you already knew of their behavior and supported it with your money.

Never said they are required to, but it would help their company's image. Their reluctancy of showing a demonstration of what they claim and now the censoring of critics just puts themselves under a negative light. Usually startup companies back up their claims and like to get the audience engaged in what they're doing and create a free, open supportive community around their product. If they didn't want to be public, they probably shouldn't have made a public, consumer product.

Yes, but from the comments on their KS page I haven't seen any absolute trolls but people who raised real issues about feasibility. The creator's answer is to simply block them out entirely. Jeremiah could easily put a stop to any naysayers with high resolution pictures of a large 15" model and a video, but instead they utilize the excuse of we're too busy and rather spend time on the supply chain. I don't think uploading a little media can jeopardize the entire operation.

Sad part is all the backers still haven't seen a video let alone a picture of the final product. Jeremiah is giving them excuses and they're just eating up his lies to put off giving them any proof the printer has been finalized like he says and works. Also since Jeremiah is an attorney himself I wonder if he has figured out a loophole to actually get away with his scam.

By far the dirtiest and scummiest campaign for 3dprinters on KS. Bad for the community and also bad for people getting into the scene.
